Fred: alright

                         I take in a deep breath and release

Fred: i got this

Har: are you sure son? 

                         "son"?... man... i love this dude... he's a great coach ta be honest. Has to be the nicest man i've met so far... i'm sure he's a great dad

Fred: yeah

Har: alright then... LIGHT ER UP

                         We run-up to the practice burning building with dummies inside. As you can assume our goal is to retrieve the dummy without it getting burned, put out the fires, and get out in less than five minutes. Me and the other two rookies start attaching the hose to the fire hydrant 

Trixie POV

T: yeah this'll take about i'd say... two weeks or more to heal... you're lucky it was VERY close to being a third-degree

An: so what should i do

T: well you've said you were running cold water over it which is good, now don't ice it or apply oils you can use aloe if you want but you mainly just want to protect it and if anything take some painkillers or give the area cold compressions if it hurts... it'll be sensitive

An: belive me it is

T: so i suggest you wear long sleeves over the bandages if you're going to do anything outside for extra protection... the nurse'll come in and you can leave soon

An: great

                        I walk out and find Gracie

T: your turn, get her outta here... damn that sounded mean 

Gr: it's fine i get it

                       I drink some coffee as she leaves... I'm so glad the hospital hasn't been as wild as it has the last couple of weeks. It's like i can finally breathe

P: hey babe, hanging in there?

T: *sigh* yep... by a thread

P: we need to get you a day off sometime

T: nah, yanno as tired as i get i love this job

P: yeah well i think you deserve it after the recent events

                             He puts his hands on my shoulders and massages em a lil

P: how bout i schedule you a massage

T: yanno i'll say no

P: then i just won't tell you when it is till that day

T: *chuckle* ight... thanks babe

                        I turn around and kiss him on the cheek before he walks off to another room... i smile a lil... he's right i do need a break BUT being the chief physician i'm not sure it'll be that easy... it's cute that he tries though... i love him

Daemon POV

                            Cold water's been working fine but it's not gonna heal this thing alone-

V: sit

Dae: what? no-

V: i SAID sit

                       She uses her powers on me and makes me sit in a chair 

Dae: oh fuck you

V: *scoffs* you wish

Dae: *gulp* what do ya want anyway?

V: ... i got this for you

V: don't fucking ask just... here

                        She smears it on my arm over the burn

Dae: *wince* watch it would you?

V: *rolls eyes*

                           It's fucking soaked by the time she starts trying to wrap my arm

Dae: you have no fucking idea what you're doing do you?

V: just shut up

                            I wrap my arm up and then she hands me some advil

V: i didn't know what to get so i just got his

Dae: you stole this didn't you?

V: no daemon i bought it from a goodwill YES i fucking stole it from out there just take it

Dae: kay damn... why'd you do that anyway?

V: i... w-well cause uh... so NOW you can stop FUCKING complaining bout me not giving back... now we're even

                 She turns around and starts walking to the next room
