Sam's sleeping on the sofa regaining their strength still. Allie sitting next to them... she has her thinking face on
Mad: what's up boo?
A: huh? oh um... nothing, it's nothing
Mad: yeah okay
I walk over and sit on her lap
Mad: seriously though
She leans back on the sofa
A: it's just... ruby'll be out by the end of tomorrow i think... and i need to be there to help
Mad: no you don't... right?
A: we had to be there for sam, besides she's still my sister
Mad: i know but that's because we had a connection like you know... we love each other

Mad: oh wait allie, i'm sorry

Mad: sammy, you're supposed to me asleep
S: light sleeper, what can i say? anyway allie you don't NEED to go, we can figure it out. Maybe we can just beat the fuck outta em till virus leaves

I see tears rolling down allies cheeks. Sam sits up slowly then notices them too

I wipe allies tears. I think sam and i are gonna need to talk later if they keep acting aggressive towards ruby around allie. I understand why sam is pissed... but i understand allie just wants her sister back
Mad: how's bout a snack? my treat
A: s-sure... yeah
S: i'm going back to bed
Mad: sam
S: hm?
Mad: you. me. later.
They look kinda confused but nod and go back to bed. I need to go make sure their cake's ready

I finally make it to the fair and see gracie getting out of her car she just parked
J: hey!
Gr: oh howdy jess... did you... walk here?
J: uh yeah, my sister used the car to get to the school. Don't worry though, i like walking. Since i can't use my wrist for a while... as you know
Gr: yeah, need water?
J: yeah i'll just get some. So, welcome to our... i don't know. Some people say fair, some say amusement park but like the beach is over there so like some say boardwalk. It's whatever you want and it's fun
Gr: it looks fun
J: so...

J: ... you want me to show you around or hang out with you as you explore?
Gr: it'd be better if you show me the ropes, i wouldn't know where to start
J: word... welp... then follow me i guess, i mean if you like want, i'm not like saying follow me you can like walk in front if you want-
She smiles at me and laughs a lil
Gr: i was planning on following ya
