I walk into the garden... it's mainly burned dirt now... all those months of taking care of them for this to happen... Faith hugs me knowing i'm a little hurt which is stupid really.. it's just a garden

J: i-it is... because the only thing you can do with a dead garden... is grow a new one
F: that's true... i guess
I notice something in the dirt and walk over to it... i know what little bumps in the dirt tend to mean. I squat down in front of it
J: well would you look at that
F: what?
J: sometimes, what's left behind can grow better than the generation before it...
I carefully cup some dirt and push it to the side to reveal a very small bud
J: if given the chance *smiles* i have a good feeling about the garden

She picked up
Daff: hello?
K: hey muffin
Daff: oh hello karen
K: how are you?
Daff: I'm okay... i decided to return to work and open the boutique again
K: that's... that's great
Daff: I'm... working alone for the first time
K: oh... that's not so great
Daff: it's alright since not many people are buying makeup or clothes at the moment
K: true
Daff: b-but how are you cupcake?
I love when she calls me that
K: I'm alright, it's still not as busy as it use to be and I'm giving Harley some days off since she moved
Daff: really now?
K: yeah i told her earlier
She was REALLY happy about it, which i'd say is kinda weird since she loves her job but I'm not complaining everyone needs a break once in a while
Daff: well that's nice
K: is something on your mind daff?
Daff: always
K: wanna talk bout it?
Daff: no... n-not now or here anyway
K: i understand... do you want to talk later?
Daff: yes
K: alright, I'll come over on a break
Daff: thank you
K: love ya

My poor girl, i know she's lonely now that half her sisters don't even wanna see her... i wish i could do more about it

I: you sure you're okay with this harley?
H: yeah how different can it be from what i do at the broken bottle?
I: well i don't know if you'll get paid-
H: i don't care... besides it'll feel weird to not work for the next couple days, i'd like to do something
I mean i get it, when you have days off you're meant to chill but that feels weird, i don't really get days off and really i don't mind it cause it's something to do. So when i got the call and Irene said she had to go to work i figured i could help somehow
I: i don't know
H: well if you don't want me-
I: no i'd love to have you with me... i'd just feel bad you wouldn't get paid
H: well if i don't then... you can pay me any other way
I: in which kinda way?
As we park she puts a hand on my inner thigh
H: *blushes* w-whatever you want?
I: i can work with that... come on, i guess we got work to do
H: m-mhm
Maxine POV
We're heading to the car and i remember how happy she was when she was driving the motorcycle... i might have been a LIL hard on her... she deserves to learn if she really wants to. I grab her wrist as she reaches for the door handle
M: *sigh* you really wanna ride the motorcycle again don't you
I: we can take the car, i know you weren't a fan-
M: hey... you wanna ride it don't you?
I: ... guilty as charged
M: well since we have some time... i can teach you to ride a lil better before we go
I: *smiles* really?
M: yeah really
She sits and i start explaining what everything does so she understands it a lil better
