Lexi POV

L: i'm so glad everything's getting back to normal

H: y-yeah, more or less... i mean this town was never normal to begin with

L: that's true *happy sigh* as much as i love laying here... i think max gave me a good idea

H: which is?

L: i think i'll head back to work, it's VERY clear the teams need me, i've never seen rebuilding take this long since... before i took the job

                               I walk over to the work closest and pick up my red construction helmet 

L: besides i miss doing it

H: i understand, i should probably reopen the comic store... i know it was a place kids really like schilling in since it has a lounge i tend to play superhero movies in... maybe i could at least make the kids of this town feel a lil more at home

L: how is the comic shop?

H: mostly fine, the outside got a lil banged up and the sign was completely destroyed but the inside was okay so as long as people know where it is they can still come

L: great, starting tomorrow we can both head back to work

H: only if you're sure you can 

L: i am... sooooo wanna have some lunch?

H: sure

                                  Cool, i can cook, nothing wrong with Hepes' cooking of course. I just would like to, been a while since i picked up a knife

L: great, i'll cook, been a while since i picked up a knife

L: that sounded... way less fucking scary in my head, i-i'm sorry i should shut up-

H: *chuckle* i really missed you 

                       I feel myself smile a lil... glad someone found that funny... a couple weeks ago i know even she'd think it was scary. Well i'm sure shatter would've laughed a lil maybe... oh my God

H: hm?

L: i... i-is she okay? i didn't get the chance to see her, i know she's in one of the custom rooms with a peephole i didn't even look, oh God i'm a crummy excuse of a big sister-

H: aye

L: what?

H: i checked for you... she's in there... i wouldn't say she's dandy but, she'll be okay once we free her from virus. She'll be so happy to see you, you're a great big sister

L: ... thanks hope, i'ma get cooking

H: i have to go do something i'll be back

                           I start chopping veggis to put into a salad when i hear her walking back and forth in her room really fast... also like she's panicking. In fact she might be i can hear her cursing a lil-

H: Lex

L: what is it? are you okay?

H: uh yeah i um just... do you know where my baclofen is?

L: your what?

H: my pills 

L: pills?

H: y-yeah, f-for my ankle

L: OOOOH yeah um i put them in the medicine cab-

                                  She jolts over to it and i hear rattling... does her ankle still hurt that bad? I hear her let out a sigh of relief...

L: puddin?

H: i'm back, sorry bout that i was just worried

L: you... still need them? i thought your ankle was healed

H: hm? yeah well it still annoys me just a lil

L: annoys you

H: yeah yanno doesn't feel right yet... yanno, pain once in a while when i step on it wrong

L: oh... okay 

Alanis POV

K: look alan, i don't know what you're going through... but this is the third time i see you here-

Alan: this is the best bar in town... n-now could i have another

K: *sigh* okay, what's the problem?

K: no one comes er three days in a row without an issue they're trying to ignore... i'm gonna assume you're not avoiding a breaking marriage or cheating partner like most of the people who do
