"How many times did you and Mom get married?" T'sha asked, sitting upside down in one of the chairs that was in the living area. Spock, who was sitting on the couch that in front of the chair, tilted his head , looking at his child. "Do you mean how many weddings we had?" he asked with a bemused look on his face. The young girl gave him a small smile.
"Yes," she said, sitting up. She put a hand to her head as she sat up. The blood rush made her feel light headed. "I sat up too fast," she explained when Spock got up and walked over to her. He bent down and observed his child in concern. T'sha glanced at her father . Sensing his concern, she took his hand in her own. "I'm fine," she tried to reassure him. Spock bent down, pulling a near by chair beside her. Thinking back, Spock took a deep breath "Your mother and I had two ceremonies," he recalled fondly. "One on Vulcan and the other on Earth."
"And your mother looked Gorgeous at both of them," he went on. "Did you follow traditions?" The young girl asked curiously. Spock arched his eyebrow. "We did," he said with a small smile. "Your mother insisted that we do."
"She was.. afraid that everything wouldn't go as planned," he smiled. "But her fears were unfounded. It went .. Well it was perfect. Both times. She was the most beautiful woman that I had ever laid on. Up onto the day that you and your sister were born. "
T'sha listened as her father spoke. "What happened on those days?" she asked, crossing her legs one ontop of the other.
Spock took another deep breath. "The night before the ceremony on Earth, we had to spend the night apart . It was the most difficult time I could remember during that time. Little did I know..." He let his voice trail off. The memories came rushing back to him as he spoke. The way that his human side made him feel nervous watching her walk down the aisle. The way that she looked in her gowns. How she smelled. The way everyone else disappeared when he locked eyes with her each time he saw her walked towards him. The way that his heart felt like it was going to beat its' way out of his chest. The love that he had for her being multiplied by forever. His love for her never falling and kept growing. Even after her death. He had vowed to always love her .
Looking over at one of the children that he and his Wife had created, he could only hope the same kind of relationships for both of his children. They deserved the world. The universe. Everything. Whoever they ended up with, they would be lucky to have his daughters as their partners.
He hoped that he would be around to see such a future. He wanted to see his family expand.
