T'sha smiled sweetly as she finished playing. She had gotten lost in playing music. It had become a form of therapy for her. She had composed her own pieces . And even played thew pieces for her father and sister. Spock praised her for her talents and Rachel hugged her tightly. Both made T'sha happy. Spock had been supportive of her efforts . He even encouraged her to keep going. He believed that she had real talent. And he wanted to encourage her to keep going in her efforts.
It seemed like it was helping her with her decision making process. She had chosen to be very careful when it came to her interactions with Lokai. She placed her instrument down as she finished playing . Her hair was pulled behind her ears and into a pony tail. She had been growing her hair out. It was now past her shoulders and to the middle of her back. She rubbed her eyes, tiredness and exhaustion had started setting in. A welcome feeling and relief from the feeling of her mind racing. Her eyes started to get heavy and fairly soon after, they had closed completely. Spock, who was sitting next to her, gently took the instrument and placed it beside him. Spock lifted her into his arms, putting her to bed, gently cupping her face as she slept peacefully. She looked so much like her mother when she was like this. At peace.
Spock tucked her in, quietly getting to his feet. "Computer," he said quietly, " dim the lights." As soon as he was done speaking, the lights dimmed to where it was dark enough to where she could sleep peacefully. Spock looked at her gently. Sensing that her mind was at ease, he let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding. Stepping out and back into the living area, he followed the sound of his other daughter humming softly as she worked on her classwork. Walking over to check on her progress. She was writing a paper on the history of the Federation. She rubbed her temples, groaning in frustration.
"My head is starting to hurt," she said softly, sensing her father's presence.
"Perhaps you should take a break," he suggested. "You have been very productive and have earned a break, My Little Flower."
Rachel just nodded. She got up and stretched her arms. She had been sitting for a few hours. The words on her padd had been jumping up and down for the last half hour that she was working on her paper. Like her father, she was detail orientated. She took pride in her thoroughness. But it did make her frustrated . That was like her mother. Bending down, she felt her back pop. "ouch," she winced . "I guess that I was sitting longer than I thought I was," she grinned lightly. Spock gave her a tiny smirk. "You are just like your mother when she was a student. She did the same thing," he added.
"She , too, would lose track of time when she was doing school work."
