Both of the young Vulcans let out a small groan as they went back to their meal. Spock arched an eyebrow as he watched them before turning back and facing his sister again. "What do you need assistance with?" He asked .
"Not what," Michael said. "Who."
Spock just looked at her. "What is going on?" He asked. He was hoping that she would get to the point. He wanted to finish his own meal and he also wanted to spend some more time with his children before they went to bed. The only time he really got to see them was during their evening meal together.
"Have you heard from Sybok?"
T'sha and Rachel looked up at their father. Then at each other. "Who is Sybok?" T'sha asked. She watched as her father tensed up at the mention of the name.
"A radical extremist," Spock said. His tone implying that the matter was to be dropped. Rachel opened her mouth, about to add her own question. But when her father spoke, she knew not to press . She had the feeling that they would find out any way.

With a heavy sigh, Spock turned and faced Micheal again. "No," he said heavily. "I have not heard from him in many years. Not since he left Vulcan. Why?"
Micheal pulled up an image that was grainy. "We believe that he might be gathering an army to overthrow The Federation."
"Unlikely."
"Why do you say that?"
Spock looked at his sister. "It is not in his nature to over throw a government," he said matter of factly.

"Perhaps his motives have changed over the years," Michael interjected.
"Maybe he's just lonely?" Rachel offered. Spock and Michael both looked at her. "Vulcans do not feel loneliness," Micheal said.
"Father does," T'sha pointed out. She looked at her father. "He just doesn't say it. But we know that he feels it," she went on as Spock looked at her. He couldn't deny that her logic was sound. She was right. He was lonely at times.
Micheal saw the expression on her brother's face and she looked down. "I'm sorry," she said.
T'sha realized that she hit a nerve and she got up from the table. When their mother died, Spock barely spoke or left their quarters. Only letting few people in, including his children. Spock sat down in the chair that was attached to his desk. T'sha came up from behind him, and in a very human way, hugged her father from behind. Soon after, Rachel joined them. Spock took comfort in their embrace, letting his eyes close for a moment.
"It is not your fault," He said as he started to take heavy breathes. He opened his eyes and looked at Michael. "You cared for her as well," he managed to get out as tears came to his eyes.
"Margaret is loved by many people. We all miss her," Micheal said. "You are not alone, Brother."
And with that, Spock let him self grieve openly.
