Kaigaku and Zenitsu

Chapter 1

Somewhere in a forest.

"Come on, aniki, you can survive this, I know!" Zenitsu thought as he ran through snow carrying his senior/Aniki who was on the brink of death.

"How could I allow this!?" Zenitsu thought.

This morning.

Today sucked

why because he was the one who had to get groceries and since he found out last minute he had to get them before any shops closes down.

"Alright I'm off to get some groceries" Zenitsu calls out to his senior and master, "Okay be careful out there" his master said, "don't get killed by a demon crybaby" Kaigaku yelled.

God, why was he the one who had to do this, especially when the sun was setting he better hurry before any shops close down.

"Hey Zenitsu" a famillar old voice said, "oh hey Mrs Otsuki" he said waving at her, "you should stay the night it's dangerous to go out at night" she said, "oh don't worry my master is a former pillar" he said trying to reassure the old women, "nonsense you should stay" she says, he should really go back but he doesn't want to say no to her.

"Alright I'll stay the night" he says as he walks in and sets his groceries aside and takes off his shoes, "here have this" Mrs Otsuki said as she handed him some soup, he gladly took the soup and began to eat it.

After he was done eating, he was laid on a futon, "goodnight Zenistu." Mrs. otsuki said, "Night, Mrs Otsuki." he smiled slowly, falling asleep

The next morning, he was refreshed and put on his shoes and carried his groceries running up the hill, "Thanks so much, Mrs Otsuki," he said, waving her goodbye.

He jogged up the mountain, but when he made it back to the estate, he could hear that something was wrong.

It sounded very bad he soon dropped his groceries and went to see what was happening and there he saw his master and Kaigaku both lying on the floor bloody, Kaigaku was holding onto gramps, he could hear that his heart was still beating so Zenitsu quickly put him on his back and ran down the hill as fast as he could.

"Don't die on me kaigaku were almost there," he cried, but soon he heard growling, and Kaigaku started thrashing around, which made him stumble and fall down a hill.

"Ouch" he whines but it was not the time to whine, he then saw Kaigaku in front of him he ran up to him "Kaigaku please let me help you your bleeding a lot I know I'm not strong but please let me help you Kaigaku" he pleaded when he reached him but then Kaigaku had attacked him, he quickly grabbed the stick next to him to stop Kaigaku from biting him he realized it, Kaigaku had turned into a demon.

"Shit, he's getting bigger in size. He might be able to kill me in a few seconds, no no! I won't let this happen to aniki" He thought he then started to cry and speak, "I'm sorry aniki, I'm sorry I wasn't there to help defend gramps or help you escape I know I'm weak and whiny but please don't leave me, even though you act like you hate me you've always respected and loved me from the bottom of your heart, I know you didn't kill gramps, please don't give in" he cried.

"It probably useless there's nothing I can do," he thought, but then he felt water on his face besides his own tears and realized Kaigaku was crying.

"Kaigaku," Zenitsu said, still crying.

But then he hears footsteps and those sound fast he looks to his side and sees a pink and green haired girl. He quickly pushes Kaigaku to the side before she can behead him.

She was caught by surprise a bit and pointed her sword at Zenitsu smiling all while he was freaked out because her sword was like a whip.

"Now this is interesting, I got to question why you protect this demon?" She asked. He stuttered a bit before answering, "Because he is my Aniki, he and my master were attacked by a demon, " he said, hoping that she would understand.

"Oh that is so sad I'm so sorry, but it is my duty as a demon slayer to kill demons" she says and in a blink of an eye she had Kaigaku next to her ready to slay him at any second he can't let this happen.

"No! No please don't kill my Aniki he's the only one I have left please" he begged the demon slayer, "I'm sorry but if I let him go he will just eat humans" she said.

"No! Kaigaku would never eat a human!" He didn't want to yell at a pretty girl like this, but he was desperate to save his aniki.

"How can you be so sure that he won't? I've heard that from thousands of different people, and yet they still get devoured by their sibling." She said, trying not to sound so mean.

"No, Kaigaku is different! he would never I know it. I don't care. Kaigaku will live a normal life, and I will find a cure to turn him back to human!" Zenitsu yelled.

"But you should know that their is no cure for demons," she said, "I don't care. I'll make one if I have to, I won't let you kill Aniki!" Zenitsu yelled.

Zenitsu then got up from the ground and ran behind a tree and threw a rock at her to which she dodged but then she heard some familiar words.

And in a second the boy was gone and so was the demon in her hands, "did he use the rock as a distraction to get ready and use a breathing technique, and he did it without a sword" she thought clearly impressed.

She looked at the boy holding his demon brother in hands, he was exhausted from the move he made and passed out quick, Mitsuri was quick to move trying to advanced over to the duo but something unbelievable happened, the demon protected the boy.

"Now that unusual," Mitsuri said she could've guessed that this demon was famished and wanted to feast right away.

The demon was attacking her using forms of marital arts, "maybe these siblings are different," she thought as she chopped his neck.
