Kaigaku and Zenitsu

Chapter 7

Zenitsu had finally made it to the big city. He forgot how busy it gets, but he has to find Kamado Tanjiro the demon slayer he was going to work with.

"Come on, Kaigaku, you're small, and you don't want to get lost in a place like this," he said to his smaller older brother, Kaigaku just growled but complied.

As he and Kaigaku passed through the crowds of people, they saw a udon shop, so he decided to go there and take a nice little break.

"Excuse me!" He called out to the owner, "Hm?" He looked over at Zenitsu and Kaigaku, "One Udon, please!" Zenitsu said, "Sure thing, " he replied, going back into his little shop to make it.

"Ahhh" he said as he sat down with Kaigaku, "we should figure out how to make you taller Kaigaku, you've been like that ever since you got out of the box" Zenitsu said Patting Kaigaku's head only to have his hand swatted away.

"Thank you for the food!" Zenitsu said as he started to eat the udon.

"Um excuse me" Zenitsu heard a voice, he looked to his side and saw a boy and a girl who looked very familiar, "can I get two bowls of udon" he said to the udon maker, "sure thing kid" he said.

"Hello my name is Tanjiro Kamado, and this is my sister Nezuko" he said introducing both of them, "Nice to meet you Tanjiro and Nezuko, I'm Zenitsu Agatsuma and this is my older brother Kaigaku" he said, Kaigaku just scowled.

"Wait a minute," they both thought.

"You're that boy from the temple!" Zenitsu pointed out, "and you're from the final selection!" Tanjiro pointed out, "I knew I recognized you somewhere!" Zenitsu laughed, "agreed!" Tanjiro smiled.

"So why is your older brother small?" Tanjiro asked as he waited for his udon, "well he can turn small. Downside is he doesn't know how to turn tall again, " Zenitsu chuckled.

"Here's your Udon," the owner said, "thank you for the food!" Tanjiro said.

As Zenitsu finished his bowl of udon, he looked at Tanjiro, who had a terrified expression on.

*smash*

"Tanjiro, are you okay? You dropped your udon, " Zenitsu said as he looked up to a terrified Tanjiro, "Stay here, Zenitsu! And watch Nezuko for me!" Tanjiro said as he grabbed his sword and dashed off, "Hey, wait! Tanjiro" Zenitsu called out, "watch Nezuko, Kaigaku!" Zenitsu told Kaigaku as he followed Tanjiro.

"Tanjiro! What's going on!" He called out, Tanjiro ignored him as he pushed through people, finally getting to the person.

As Zenitsu followed Tanjiro, he heard it. It sounded demonic and merciless. He hadn't heard anything this terrifying ever, is this a demon that they were looking for?

Tanjiro kept running and soon grabbed a man's shoulder. Zenitsu looked up, and the sound was even more demonic it terrified him.

"Tanjiro, don't do it!" Zenitsu thought as Tanjiro was about to draw his sword.

"Daddy," a little girl said, catching both of them off guard. The man fully turned to them, showing that he had a little girl in his arms.

Both Tanjiro and Zenitsu gasped, "This demon, h-he has a c-child!" Zenitsu thought.

"I'm sorry. Is there something I can do for you?" The demon asked, "you two seemed to be a bit flustered, " he said.

"Darling, what's the matter?" A woman came up to them, "don't worry, mother!" The kid said.

"T-thats not right t-they both s-sound human, i-is this d-demon p-posing as a human?" Zenitsu thought as they chatted.

"Who are these boys?" The woman said, "I don't know" the demon said looking back at them, "I'm just as confused as you are I haven't seen these boys before" he said to his fake wife.

"He must've mistaken me for someone else," he said as he scratched someone. Both Zenitsu and Tanjiro gasped.

"Oh my, what's the matter dear?" A woman asked her husband who was transforming into a demon.

"You look pale," she said. The man then roared as he attacked the female, "No, stop!" Tanjiro said as she pushed past the demon and his fake wife.

"AHHHHHHHH!" The woman shrieked as the male bit into her shoulder.
