Kaigaku and Zenitsu

Chapter 30

Zenitsu slowly woke up and gasped as he looked around and spotted three Kamuro's.

The three of them smiled "thank goodness" one spoke. "Are you all right Zenko?" The one in the middle asked. Zenitsu stuttered before speaking "what just happened?" He asked.

"After you got punched you blacked out Zenko" the one on his left said "yeah we worried sick" the one of his right said. "Oh that's right. I'm fine I'm just dizzy that's all" Zenitsu said trying to reassure them.

"We brought you some food Zenko so eat up!" The one on his left said. "And use this to keep the swelling down" the one on his right said handing him a towel.

Zenitsu nodded as he put it on his cheek wincing a bit. "Are you going to be alright?" The girl on his left asked and he nodded "yeah it's not as bad as it looks" he smiled.

"Thank you for earlier" the girl in the middle said. "This only happened because you defended me and Kiyoko" the girl said. "I would've done what anyone human would do. Since I'm the eldest (not really) I can't help but trying to defend any young person crying" Zenitsu smiling sadly.

"But that's not true at all. Everyone here is busy trying to take care of themselves everyday. This it the very first time we met someone so kind" the girl smiled.

"See you around the house Zenko"

"Take care of yourself"

"And get lots of rest okay!"

"Right thank you so much!" Zenitsu smiled as he waved them goodbye and look down at the towel.

"Huh?" Zenitsu questioned as something grabbed him.

With Tanjiro and Inosuke

"I'm telling you there's a demon in my house!" Inosuke yelled as Tanjiro just looked clueless. "I'm telling you it looked like this you know what I mean right?" Inosuke asked as he tried to imitate what the demon looked like.

"Yeah I totally believe you just hold on" Tanjiro said sweating. "Like this you know what I'm saying!" Inosuke yelled still trying to imitate it "yeah, anyway Mr Uzui,Zenitsu, and Kaigaku should be coming to check in soon" Tanjiro said.

"And it looked like this!" Inosuke said and Tanjiro just nodded.

"Zenitsu won't be coming" Uzui said appearing out of nowhere startling the two. Tanjiro eyes widened as he saw Uzui carrying Kaigaku's box.

"Wait Zenitsu is not coming what do you mean by that?" Tanjiro panicked. Uzui sighed "I'm sorry for putting you all through this. It seems I was so desperate to rescue my wives in time that I made so poor decisions regarding the mission" Uzui said.

"As it stands Zenitsu's been missing. There's been no contact since last night. And the only thing I could find there was Kaigaku afraid and Nezuko angry" Uzui said as Tanjiro eyes widened.

"You two should leave now with Kaigaku you're ranked to low for this. If the demon here turns out be an upper rank, you'll be dead weight. If you vanish from here you'll just be assumed that your dead" Uzui said getting up and handing Inosuke Kaigaku's box.

"Therefore I'm continuing on my own" he said turning away from them. "Please Mr Uzui there must be someway we can help-" Tanjiro said but Uzui interrupted him "don't be ashamed, life is about survival take this chance and get out of here with Kaigaku" Uzui said looking at Inosuke.

"You should honor Zenitsu's wishes about protecting Kaigaku and getting out of here Inosuke" he said as Inosuke eyes widened as Uzui disappeared "get back here old man!" He yelled.

"Maybe he's not able to put his trust in us. Is it because we're the lowest rank?" Tanjiro questioned. "We're not the lowest rank now" Inosuke spoke confusing Tanjiro "we're Kanoe we did get promoted. Did you forget about our rankings?" Inosuke asked.
