Kaigaku and Zenitsu

Chapter 17

Zenitsu stared up at the moon as Kaigaku was still by his side but then he felt a sharp pain on his hand.

He turned his hand and saw Kaigaku sucking his blood, He coughed up a bit more blood, ".....Kaigaku.....no" Zenitsu said, Kaigaku ignored him.

Zenitsu is breathing normally again, was Kaigaku sucking the poison from his body? Zenitsu smiled at Kaigaku, "......Thank....you" he said as his vision started becoming more clear.

He felt his legs but his arms were probably stubs by now, he saw a butterfly in the air and he could make out a person with a demon slayer uniform on.

"....Kaigaku.....go" he finished as his vision became blurry, Kaigaku tried to shake Zenitsu out of it.

"My my luckily I got here in time" he heard a voice behind him, Kaigaku growled as he faced the demon slayer.

"The moon is quite beautiful isn't it?" She smiled, Kaigaku waited for a bit until he saw her lunge towards him, he quickly dodged and grabbed Zenitsu making a run for it.

"You can run all you like but you will get nowhere" the lady called out, Kaigaku ignored her and jumped up to the trees as she was following behind on the ground.

She jumped up and stabbed Kaigaku with her sword, Kaigaku winced and fell to the ground, he quickly maneuvered around Zenitsu so he would take the fall instead.

Kaigaku landed on the ground with a thud, "Ouch hey that is not nice little sparrow" he heard the demon slayer say, he looked up and saw Chuntaro poking the demon slayers head.

"But I do wonder" he heard her say, "why do you wish to protect this demon slayer, instead of eating him" she asked.

"....Kaigaku....no...don't.....hurt....him" Zenitsu mumbled out, but she heard him perfectly.

"Kaigaku you say, are you guys perhaps Zenitsu Agatsuma and Kaigaku Agastuma?" She asked, Kaigaku nodded as he held onto his brother.

"Ah I am terribly sorry" she bowed, "I heard a lot about you from Mitsuri, and she kinda made me promise not to hurt you unless you ate someone" She said as she bent down to look at Zenitsu.

Kaigaku looked at her warily, "don't worry, I won't hurt him" she said as she sheathed her sword putting her hands up, he nodded and let her look at Zenitsu.

"Hm his condition is better then the others,but he'll have to go to the butterfly mansion to get fully healed" she explained, Kaigaku nodded, she then took out a syringe and gave him some medicine.

"There that should take care of the rest of the poison" she smiled as she put her syringe away, she heard some screaming in the distance.

"Wait here, I'll be back and make sure not to eat someone" she smiled and patted his head, he nodded as he saw her run away.

He quickly shrunk down to kid size as Chuntaro laid on his head, he heard Zenitsu coughing and decided he needed the Kakushi's help.

Kaigaku carried Zenitsu on his back to where the Kakushi were at.

"Eep! A demon" he heard, "Stay back!" The Kakushi said standing infront of the spiders and demon slayers who were injured, "Mmm" he replied back confusing the slayers, "why does he have a muzzle on?" One of them questioned.

He ignored the question and showed them Zenitsu nudging him towards them, "oh do you want us to help him?" One asked, Kaigaku nodded and they approached carefully.

"Was he the one who defeated the demon?" A kakushi asked as they were wrapping Zenitsu up in bandages, Kaigaku nodded as he watched them finish wrapping up.
