Kaigaku and Zenitsu

Chapter 6

"Can you please tell me your story?" He asked,"Huh w-who are you?" The boy said fear clear in his voice.

"Don't worry, I'm here to help find your parents," he asked, bending down so he was eye level with the boy, "are you the police?" The boy asked, "Well, not really, I'm part of a special group that helps with finding people, names Zenitsu Agatsuma, " he said. The boy nodded.

He sat down with the boy and gave him some onigiri.

"W-well you see, it was late at night and I-I saw something on the ground outside of our house and I was going to pick it up to see what it was, and like that I didn't know what happened but s-someone grabbed me and I screeched b-before he c-could cover my mouth, m-my parents immediately responded a-and my mom had a knife with her like she always does for protection and stabbed the man as my dad grabbed me and tossed me back but it was too late he already taken my mom, my dad told me to run and I did, all I could hear was my dad's screaming" he cried.

Zenitsu patted the boys back as he looked down at him with sadness. A young child like him shouldn't have to deal with this.

"I am very sorry that happened to you," Zenitsu said, *sniff* "you don't have to apologize for anything it's not your fault, Zenitsu," the boy said.

"Hey, um, what's your name?" Zenitsu asked, "Kotaro, " he replied, "Hey Kotaro, don't worry because I'm going to help find your parents, " he said.

"Really!" He said, Zenitsu nodded,"Now, can you please lead me to your house?" Zenitsu asked, Kotaro nodded and led the way.

"So this is where the demon attacked" Zenitsu thought as he looked through the house and the outside, he looked to see if there was any noises to see if they were hiding in the ground or the house.

"Hm, nothing," Zenitsu sighed.

The sun was falling, and Zenitsu had nothing. He sighed he couldn't leave Kotaro alone with someone, and he couldn't leave him alone.

Night crept in, and he heard a kid screaming. He was surprised and grabbed Kotaro's hand and followed the noise, "What's going on, Zenitsu!" Kotaro asked, "it's all fine Kotaro just stay by me, " he said.

He finally made it just in time, "s-stop r-right there!" Zenitsu confronted, "huh a demon slayer haven't seen those in awhile, " the demon holding the small girl said.

It was a grotesque thing

It had horns, 4 arms, and many things he couldn't describe cause he was scared, but he had to save that girl.

"Haha you can't even stare at me with a straight face, you're just a coward" the demon cackled, as he was about to dash off with the girl Zenitsu attacked him with his sword and tried swinging at him but failed, "shoot I was too late" Zenitsu thought as he looked to the side, seeing the demons arm reach out for him, he dodged it and hopped back to Kotaro.

The demon just cackled as he still held the girl in his arms she was terrified but couldn't say anything cause the demon held his arm over her mouth.

He swung at the demon again, and they dodged it and kicked him, "AGH" he said as he rolled on the ground near Kotaro, "Zenitsu!" Kotaro said, as the demons claw went to his eyes.

*slice*

The demons arm came off, "what the why is a demon with a human?" the demon exclaimed, looking up at Kaigaku, who had his sword out.

"here's my chance" Zenitsu thought while the demon was distracted with Kaigaku he got up and attacked the demon catching him off guard, he sliced the arm holding the girl and caught her and jumped back to Kotaro, "can you please guard her" Kotaro nodded taking the girl into his arms.

"Kaigaku, please help me." he heard an affirmative growl next to him, and soon they attacked.

Kaigaku had used Thunder breathing 6th form, while Zenitsu used first form.

It all happened in a flash for the demon. Soon, his head was on the ground, "what the how did I get beaten by a brat!" The demon yelled profanities.

Kaigaku went over to the demons head and punted his head like a football, "mmmm" Kaigaku said as he went over to the kids who looked at him with fear in their eyes

He patted their heads.

"Are you guys okay?" Zenitsu asked, they both nodded, "good, let's get you to your parents, " Zenitsu said as he and Kaigaku piggyback them to the little girls house.

"Suki! You're alright!" The mom said to the little girl, "Thank god. " The father hugged the little girl, "What happened?" The mother asked, "a stranger kidnapped me, but I was saved by Kotaro!" She said pointing at the boy, "huh" the parents looked at Kotaro and he just waved, "well thank you Kotaro, we don't know how to repay you" the father said, "can he live with us?" Suki asked, "Are you sure what about your parents?" The mom asked, "T-they died. " Kotaro said, "Oh my, of course you can live with us, " the father said.

Zenitsu just smiled warmly at the scene before them glad Kotaro was in safer hands.

But Kaigaku had kicked him in the legs, "OWWW" he said as he fell to the ground looking at Kaigaku who was glaring at him, "come on you still can't be mad at me for making you get in the box!" He exclaimed, Kaigaku punched his head, "Okay, okay! I'm sorry!" Zenitsu screamed.

Luckily, the sun rose, and Kaigaku was forced to go in the box.

"Chirp chirp"

"Head to Asakusa Tokyo!"

"Rumor has it a demon is lurking there, you'll be joining a demon slayer Tanjiro Kamado."

"Tanjiro Kamado, that name is famillar," Zenitsu thought as he followed his sparrow to his next location.
