Chapter 22

Somewhere

Lower 6 was teleported somewhere with a lot of doors and platforms.

Some of the other lower moons were too and everytime they were teleported there was a biwa sound.

"Was it that woman blood demon art?" Lower 6 thought as he looked at the woman in the middle of the platform with a biwa.

She played her biwa more and suddenly the rest of the twelve kizuki were summoned which made lower 6 worried, "only the lower kizuki, have been summonded?" He thought, "that's never happened before, and lower 5 isn't here yet" he thought.

All of a sudden they were all moved infront of a woman.

"What's the deal with this woman? Who is she?"

"Lower your heads and kneel down" she demanded, all of a sudden all the lower kizuki kneeled infront of the woman.

"That is master muzan's voice, I didn't recognize him at all, he's completely changed!" Lower six thought as he was sweating from fear, "p-please forgive us master since you changed yo-" lower 4 said but Master Muzan interuppted her, "who gave you permission to speak?" She asked.

"Don't persume to voice your worthless thoughts" she said, "Answer my questions nothing else" she said, "Rui was killed" she stated.

"He was lower 5, I have but one question to ask you" she said, "why are you memebers of the lower rank so weak?" She asked, "you shouldn't be satisfied merely being among the twelve kizuki" she said.

"That is only the beginning"

"To devour more humans to become stronger, your starting point for becoming useful to me"

"For over a century the members of the upper ranks of the twelve kizuki remained unchanged. It's always been the demons of the upper ranks who've disposed of those demon slayer hashira, but what about you demon of the lower ranks?"

"How many times have you been replaced?"

"That's easy for you to say, but we" lower 6 thoughts were interuppted by master muzan "you make it sound so easy but we, what go ahead and say it?" She asked and lower 6 sweatdropped "he can read my mind?" Lower 6 thought, "this is bad"

"What is bad, go ahead and say it!" She demanded immediately grabbing lower 6 who was shuddering and crying, "forgive me master Muzan!" He begged.

"Please show mercy! Please please please!" He begged, but master muzan ate him and belched as the blood dripped down onto the other lower moons who were also terrified.

"Why is this happening? Am I next? After I did so much to be in the twelve kizuki?"

"I thought I was going to do more!"

"Are you more afraid of the demon slayers then me?"

"No!" Lower 4 yelled.

"Everytime you run into a demon slayer hashira, the only thing on your mind is to flee"

"No master muzan! I would fight for you with my life! Hashira's are too strong for me at the moment but if I become stronger I can help you with that demon boy and kill any hashira you want!" She yelled and suddenly she screamed as her neck was stabbed.

Lower 3 looked at her and realized something master muzan injected her with some of his blood.

"If you say so then go do it" Muzan demanded, she immediately bowed and nodded as she was teleported away.

"Master muzan showed her mercy? Hell he can't do that for me, there's only one thing I can do" lower three thought as he immediately dashed away trying to find an exit.
