Chapter seven ~ Comfortable

Wednesday, 8:27am.
Location, New york.
Julie's moms house.

Julie woke up for the second time today, the first time being when her and Schlatt drove Alison to school.
Julie and Schlatt have been pretending to date for a good four days now, so they've gotten more comfortable with the whole fake dating thing, something that Schlatt started initiating himself was put his arm around Julie's shoulder when they were sitting or standing by each other, which was quite often.

At the moment, Schlatt was passed the fuck out, facing Julie's back with his arm around her stomach.
So maybe cuddling became a thing too.
It's only because the house is super cold right now!! And the arm around her happened in his sleep, mostly....
okay he may have been a little conscious but he was mostly asleep!

Julie slowly sat up, so his arm was now around her waist.
She grabbed her phone from the bedside table and began to check her notifications, texting people back and scrolling thru twitter

After about 15 minutes or so, Schlatt started to wake up.

"Morning" She said to him and patted the top of his head.

Schlatt yawned then pulled his arm off of her, trying to act like it did not happen, "Morning, time?"

"like 15 til' 9" She replied.

"Wake me up at nine thirty?" Schlatt ask her.

"Nope, gotta get up cus we have places to go," She said.

"Ew, where?" Schlatt asked then sighed into his pillow.

"Shopping, Alison's birthday is tomorrow and Saturday is the twins birthday, we need to get gifts and snacks, and i was thinking maybe we could get lunch while we're out as well"

"Okay, sounds good" he sat up and stretched his arms out? getting off of the bed and grabbing some new clothes "i'm gonna go shower.

Same day, 11:37pm.
Location, New york.
That fuck ass rental car.

"Alright, where to first?" Schlatt said from the drivers seat as he pulled his phone out.

Julie and Schlatt were sitting in the drive way of her mothers home

"Uhhh, the mall?" She asked Schlatt from the passenger seat, Schlatt responded with a nod and typed the address to her hometown mall, then they began their drive.

Julie grabbed the aux chord, plugging it into her phone and played her playlist.
She rolled the windows down and turned the music up and tapped along to the beat

Schlatt couldn't help but take glances at his best friend, the sunlight shining on her face, showing off all of her freckles, making her dark brown eyes look like honey, the wind coming thru the window and softly blowing her hair, she was breathtaking.
Why was he thinking this way?
He never thought of her like this.
What's going on?

Schlatt was going up and down the lanes of the mall parking lot, trying to find a spot to park the rental car in the crowded New York mall lot.

"Jesus fucking christ, we're not gonna find a spot at this rate," He said, then right after he said that an empty spot showed up "oh."

"See, you don't always have to be a dick about things, ya know." Julie said as Schlatt put the car into park and she quickly hopped out of the car, walking around to his side of the car

"Yeah, love you you too, Jules" he said and she just smiled at him in return.
Schaltt stepped out of the car and followed her to the entrance doors of the mall.
