Schlatt and Julie's home ~ Kitchen.

Finally, Julie was coming to terms with the fact that these feeling weren't just going to disappear. She was just going to have to live with them until they eventually faded.

Julie hummed the lyrics to her favorite song as she put away the rest of the dishes and began grabbing the ingredients for pancakes.

As she started mixing things into a bowl, a sleepy looking Schlatt came out of his room and into the kitchen. Sitting at the bar and looking at Julie who was in front of him, on the other side of the counter.

"..You're up early. Why're you looking at me like I've done something wrong." Julie questioned as she poured sugar into the dry mixture.

"Because you woke me up." He glared at her.

"Woops! I wasn't even being that loud. It's not my fault you wake up at 11am everyday." She responded and added milk to the bowl "Do you want pancakes."

He sighed tiredly but replied, "Yes."

Julie smiled and continued to mix in ingredients until the batter was all prepared.

"Chocolate chips?" She asked him and she poured the first pancake onto the pan.

"Yes, please." He answered tiredly.

The two sat in comfortable silence for a moment, then Schlatts phone rang.

Schlatt picked his phone up and answered, "Hello?"

"Heyyyy, Pal. I am so glad you're up." Charlie said enthusiastically.

"I'm not." Schlatt replied.

"Right, Right. Anyway, is Julie there?"

"Yeah, She's here. Why, what's up?" Schlatt asked as he scraped the back of his head.

"Can you put me on speaker please?" Charlie requested.

"Mhm." Schlatt replied to him.
"Alright. You're on speaker."

Julie took the pancake off the pan setting it on to a plate and turned off the burner, assuming she was about to join a conversation.
She walked away from the stove and over to the phone.

"Hi, Charlie!!"Julie said joyfully.

"Hey, Julie! So, I have like some news and sort of a request form you guys- So yeah. Anyway, do you guys have plans this week?

"No, I don't think so?" Schlatt said as he looked to Julie for confirmation.

"Nope. No plans, like literally none, we have no friends." Julie sighed and Schlatt nodded in agreement.

"Great! So me and Ted bought plane tickets to come to Austin to surprise you guys- But, then we realized it'd be rude to just show up without seeing if you guys were busy.. So, Here I am, ruining the surprise because I'm such an awesome, great and amazing friend." Charlie managed to say all in one breath as if he had been rehearsing this speech.

Julie and Schlatt looked to each other then back down at the phone. Neither of them had any words.

"Hello?" Charlie said.

"Oh my god." Is all Julie said and Schlatt still hadn't spoke.

"Dude, we haven't seen you guys in like 1000 years oh my god. I am so excited, how the fuck did you drop this so casually." Julie exclaimed

"Holy fuck." Schlatt finally spoke.

"So... we can come?"

"Um, Yes?! Also, Schlatt probably won't say anything. But that is good, it means he's excited.. I think." Julie looked to Schlatt who looked shocked but happy.
