Jansen Kendrick Uytengco Point of View
It's been a week since that doodle thing happen.
Ako palagi an g nauuna sa kan'ya.
Like what? Ang bilis n'yang napapayag si Mamu?
*KRING KRING
"Sir,Mr. Ivo is in the line.Gusto daw po n'ya kayong maka-usap."
"What line?"I asked her still facing all the documents leaning on the desk.
"Line four." I clicked the line four button and then I heard Primotivo's voice. I wonder what it is this time. Primotivo is one of my closest friends since college. We are actually four Me, Primotivo, Mark and of course, Frank. The 5 of us owned this company -- actually I own this company but I consider them as my co-owners. I inherit this company from my parents, conjugal property nila 'to. Now they both migrated in US -- idea of mine. It was for their own good.
I graduated 3 years ago, Management ang course ko parehas kami ni Primo. One of may goals ay mapasama man lang sa top 10 sa bar exam but I ain't luck that much, dahil hindi nangyari. Pero ayos lang basta naka-graduate na 'ko and my life is stable now. While Mark is a Chef at si Frank naman ay doctor as I've said before. Dahil pinahiram s'ya ni Mark ng pera, saying na bayaran na lang daw s'ya kapag nakapagtapos na si Frank, you know -- Mark has a soft heart when it come to poor people. Nabayaran naman s'ya ni Frank actually sobra-sobra pa nga because Frank marry the younger sister ni Mark -- and they're living happily now. Wait, don't get me wrong, hindi pinakasalan ni Frank ang kapatid ni Mark dahil lang may utang s'ya, because bago pa lang pinautang ni Mark si Frank ay may relas'yon na sila. All of us we're successful now.
"Uy, Pare guess what. Because you asked me to be you proxy right? And approved na nila 'yung proposal natin. They're even amazed sa bussiness proposal natin -- 'yung idea ni Tisay." Primo said happily. Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko.
"Really?" hindi ko makapaniwalang sabi.
"Yes, at i-process na daw natin 'yon as soon as possible." Wow.
"Let's celebrate to that." I happily exclaimed.
It's her victory after all." I guess his right.
"You're right. I will. Sige Bye." I said then he hung up.
Pero after a minute lutang pa rin ako. Wala na akong maintindihan sa binabasa ko. I looked at my wristwatch. It's already 1:31 in the afternoon, yet I haven't eaten anything. I stood up at naglakad papunta sa pinto. I immidiately walked towards Tisay's office. Then I saw her busy scanning some people works on the table. Did she eaten already? I smiled when an idea come out in my mind then walked away from her office.
