Only then I answered a call from my best friend. "Mick? How often do you think you have to call until you get that I don't want to talk right now?" I asked even though I wasn't mad.

"I'm sorry. I know you don't, but we're worried about you! It's past lunch and we haven't heard from you since this morning. Where are you? "

"Well, that's good question. I went for a run after I left and I kind of ended up in Saint Martin de Peille?"

"One sec I need to google this. WHAT THE HELL? HOW DID YOU GET THERE? THAT'S TWO FUCKING HOURS AWAY!" he raged.

"I know I'm sorry but I'm having coffee right now and plan to be on my way right after. I'll probably be back in an hour or so. I promise."

"Oh man we're on the boat but Lando stayed back at Charles so you can go to his and we'll meet you there?"

"Sure. I'll be as fast as I can." I say chugging the hot liquid before hanging up and paying for my drinks.

It only took 45 minutes to get back. The rain and brewing storm speeding me up even more and after picking up the pace weaving through the people scattering to find shelter only 10 more to get to Charles place. I rang the doorbell still out of breath and my clothes dripping from the rain.

"Who's there?" Lando asked through the speakers.

"Lan. It's me let me in before I sail away." I said chuckling.

I heard the door buzz and I sprinted up the stairs yearning for a hot shower.

"Thank god youre okay." Lando sighed as I walked through the already open door.

"I would hug you right now but Im kind of slightly wet and would appreciate a warm shower if thats alright?"

"Oh, sure I'll show you to the bathroom."

After a relaxing shower I walked back to where I expected the living area to be in a bathrobe, I found in one of the cabinets and bumped into Lando on the way.

"Oh, hi! I just wanted to ask if you wanted something to drink. He doesnt have much alcohol, but we have some beers and wine and stuff." Lando asked guiding me to the living room.

"Water's fine thanks Lan." I smiled walking towards the window and watching the storm go on outside. There were trees bending to the side as the wind raked through them and howled around the corners of the house.

"You scared of storms?" Lando asked cautiously as he came back with some water for us.

"I love them. If the wind wasnt so strong, I would love to go outside right now but-" I shrugged leaving the sentence unfinished.

"Let's not do that. Are you okay after this morning?" he asked quietly.

"Yeah. Im fine." I swallowed before turning around and taking a seat next to him on the couch.

"You sure? from what I heard you weren't." he pressed.

"I wasnt thats right, but I will be okay very soon." I forced a smile.

"There anything I can do?"

"Not really. But thanks anyway."

"No problem. You have my number if you ever need anything." He smiled cutely.

"Actually, do you have a charger I could use for my phone? Its pretty much dead."

"Sure! one sec. while Im at it. Do you want some clothes? You know just until yours are dry?"

"That would be very nice. Thank you. "

"I'll just look for some that might fit you."

"Thank you, Lan." I smiled softly
