Unfortunately this book is almost finished, hence why updates are more frequent. I just want it over and done with. I haven't finished a book in ages. But don't worry, I inevitably won't make it seem rushed. I've published all the pre written chapters anyway.

"What were you thinking?!"

"I wasn't thinking."

"That's right, you weren't thinking!" Lilibet had yelled at Savannah at home. "I can't believe you would do something like this. I don't know what's wrong with you but something has definitely gotten into you!"

Savannah had just arrived home from Silvercloud Holding Centre after speaking to Jackson.

On her way home, Lilibet had texted her to come home immediately instead of going back to her university room.

Having a go at her over everything had seemed more meaningful in person compared to the phone. However, that wasn't the only reason Lilibet wanted her back.

Savannah's punishment was to help Lilibet at her hair salon throughout the week, until the Valentine's Day talent show in a few days' time.

One had to buy a ticket for that and it wasn't refundable. Savannah wasn't going to miss that, even if her mother did initially forget about it.

Working for Lilibet with less pay than usual (though still paid) was a good punishment because Savannah would have normally snuck off halfway either way.

Like she had done before she had met everyone in YSHM when Josiah had texted her to come to his house for a meeting.

His siblings were away and it was a perfect opportunity for everyone to each other for the first time.

Silvercloud Holding Centre had called Lilibet saying that Savannah had been charged for trespassing and invading Jackson's privacy twice. Jackson was even the one that charged them, albeit at least he had given them a heads up.

How they got her number, Savannah didn't know. Lilibet had never been there before ... although come to think of it, they most likely got everything from Ashanti.

"I'm sorry but it's not my fault you kept Jackson away from me!" Savannah shouted back. "Have you ever considered things from my perspective? Do you know how hard it was for me to find out that you had been keeping my brother away from me? All this while I thought that I was an only child. You made it seem that way!"

Whilst Lilibet understood that, Savannah was simultaneously making it seem like she was innocent and what she did was okay or perfectly acceptable.

As if breaking into Silvercloud Holding Centre when one was not supposed to was not a crime and she hadn't been charged for trespassing. She was very lucky she hadn't been arrested.

Perhaps if she wasn't still in education then she would have been. That didn't make things any better though.

Savannah was also slightly cross at Ashanti for breaking the promise she made her of not telling anyone about this.

"A lesson had to be taught. I told you millions of times all the things wrong with visiting Jackson but you didn't listen. Don't bring me into this! You wouldn't take no for an answer."

It then dawned on Savannah that she forgot to remind Jackson not to say anything to anyone about Darius, Lilibet or his past in general.

Hopefully he would have still remembered. He had to.
