Akai Osei (picture above) as Jackson. Also, this book is almost finished! I'd say like 12 or so chapters left (can't promise it though) and then that's it.

"Get out."

The girls looked at him cluelessly, almost as if he was speaking in code.

Sotiria said sorry? even though she knew what he had just said, they all did.

"I said get out!" Jackson was beyond infuriated now, almost reminding the girls of lava about to erupt. "You guys must be Darius' daughters, aren't you?! Darius Campbell, who is supposedly my own father, put me in a coma; he almost killed me, and you expect me to forget that?! If I hate Darius, then I hate everyone he's associated with! Especially him and his family! So get out now before I make you guys wish you were in prison instead of me!!"

Everyone was looking at them now, with the stares increasing when Jackson shouted that they were the daughters of the man who attempted murder on him.

Jackson never wanted to see their faces again and he meant it.

Since Sotiria and Zipporah found it useless arguing with him, they stood up to leave, however Savannah wasn't going down without a fight.

She was going to get what she wanted whether it was easy or not.

"Jackson, Darius and my mum aren't exactly to blame here, you don't know the whole story. That's why we came here, to explain it to you--"

"What's there for you to explain?"

"More than you think, please?"

The security guards weren't having it, and neither was Jackson. Then again, Ashanti did say in the car that Jackson was always pretty cranky before 1PM, almost every single day. So maybe they could have tried after. It was just past 12:20.

That didn't go well or as planned, even if the girls weren't really that surprised.

Savannah told Reminisce everything through the phone outside when Reminisce called her. She wasn't giving up though. Jackson needed to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Things seemed hopeless now, so when Sotiria and Zipporah heard that Savannah had another idea to talk to Jackson, they were a bit bewildered.

"Are you serious? This is obviously a sign from God that we should leave and go home," Sotiria frowned.

"Or..." Savannah had trailed off, thinking optimistically. "It's a sign from God that things will work out, we just need to try a different way."

Or that they needed to leave? Why was that so hard for her to understand?

Zipporah wanted to know how they were going to do that exactly, with Savannah grinning mischievously.

That was for her to know, and for them to wish they did.

She knew her plan though. Jackson said he didn't want to see them again...

But he said nothing about Khalifa, Reminisce and Josiah.

And that was where her plan came in.

**********

"You want us to come with you to visit Jackson?" Khalifa repeated, folding his arms. "Didn't you low-key just say that Jackson said he never wants to see you again?"
