What's up? Expect more of these updates. I'm going to try to be more consistent, especially how I've almost finished the book.
Happy reading ❤️

Ashanti sure wasn't kidding when she said to them that Silvercloud Holding Centre was more of a hotel than a prison. She mentioned that both in her house and in the car.

The girls were absolutely surprised when they walked in.

They had to pass a few chairs and tables before arriving at reception once and for all, which had still looked the same

They had to pass a few chairs and tables before arriving at reception once and for all, which had still looked the same.

"Holy moly, is this a prison or a hotel?" Sotiria was amazed, until she came to a sign. "Oh, makes sense."

Zipporah and Savannah didn't know what she was talking about, until she pointed them to their sign. It said Silvercloud Holding Centre in beautiful calligraphic writing, with its slogan underneath it, again in very neat handwriting.

Prison doesn't have to be painful. It can be peaceful - and that's exactly what we're trying to do here.

"Didn't think prison hotels existed," Savannah heaved, keeping her voice down in case someone around her had somehow found that sentence offensive.

Ashanti told her in the car that despite how Silvercloud Holding Centre was a nice prison, the guards and staff members were often offended easily.

She had made fun of the brown wallpaper when she last came there, saying it was the colour of a turd. This was before they made it purple. A security guard overheard her and threatened to fine her, which the staff members didn't do as a lot of people had unfortunately said the same thing.

Staff members had more power over security guards, especially since a staff member had made the prison from scratch anyway 20 years ago. It took them 17 years to do so. Three of them did. There were approximately 1K prisoners in there at the moment.

Silvercloud Holding Centre was a prison hotel because they had the best prisoners. So many people had been released early from prison last year due to good behaviour, almost everybody. This constantly happened due to how the security guards had treated them, so therefore they turned it to a hotel.

Those in there right now were in prison for minor offences, but they still had to be arrested. That was the rule there at Silvercloud Holding Centre, which started two months ago.

Prisoners had to have committed minor offences, else they had to go to a "worse" prison, except from those that were there before the new rule had taken place. Their sentence couldn't have been longer than 7 years, as 7 was the number of perfection.

The difference between security guards and staff members was that security guards had looked after prisoners, and did things for them, whilst staff members had done office work, or work generally to do with computers - and looking after the building.
