⬆️Savannah and Lilibet
Chapter I wanted to get through! Happy reading!
If Savannah was scared to talk to Señor Rodriguez, that was nothing compared to how she had felt about talking to Lilibet.
She had just left the library so that she could have told her mother that she had gotten expelled from creative arts school.
Even worse, it was the best one of all of Greece. If it wasn't, then maybe Lilibet wouldn't have cared so much... though she would have probably been annoyed at Savannah either way for getting expelled.
Regardless of where she was.
She didn't even want to do so, that was until Reminisce had told her to do so before Lilibet had found out from external sources.
She also didn't mean to ignore the boys like that when they had said hi to her. She just had a lot to deal with, maybe more than what she could have handled.
When she was out of earshot from everybody, and when she was back in her room, she had decided to call Lilibet.
Worst case scenario was that she had already known what was happening even without Savannah telling her anything.
Reluctantly, Savannah had called her mum, who had picked up on the second ring. Lilibet didn't like it when people had called her more than twice after she didn't pick up, she was just that kind of person.
Plus she had found it disrespectful.
Obviously not everyone was aware of this because not everybody was close to Lilibet like that. She had normally told people not to call her more than twice because she didn't like a notification overload, especially from the same person.
Okay, you can do this. Just tell mum you got expelled. How hard can it be?
At least it wasn't in all her classes. Just Darius', for the time being. Best case scenario, everything would have been resolved in a few days.
"Savannah, baby! You haven't called me since you left to go to school! How you been?"
She could have been better.
But at least she was still in the school.
And alive.
Even though Savannah wanted to call her mum, she had requested for a FaceTime call because she hadn't seen her daughter in a long time.
She panicked.
Did she have to pick up?
If she hadn't though, then her mother would have definitely suspected something because Savannah had always picked up FaceTime calls unless there was a valid reason on why.
"I don't want to FaceTime you, mum. I'm sick."
"You don't sound sick, baby. If you were, I'm sure you wouldn't have called me. What's going on? You okay?"
Savannah didn't sound sick, but she had looked sick - even if she wasn't really. Anything to avoid Lilibet from seeing her guilty face.
"I'm fine." She had lied. "Mum, there's something I have to tell you."
She had said lay it on me! really excitedly, making Savannah feel even more guilty for not telling her anything beforehand.
