Y'all, hey, sorry for slow update
I gave this app up for Lent
Anyway, as I was gone, I decided to write some more chapters, which was more useful so I can just copy and paste them, instead of me just writing

Also... Susan Kelechi Watson (picture above) as Aunty Ashanti. Happy reading, and if you still stuck around despite my absence, I truly appreciate you. You're a real one. ❤️ and I promise to never take you for granted.

The walk to Ashanti's house had taken a while but Khalifa, Reminisce, Josiah, Sotiria and Zipporah had gotten there eventually.

It was about a twenty minutes walk from the creative arts' school, with the journey being surprisingly quiet. Then again, it was quite early in the morning so if people had talked to each other, it would have most likely been to complain.

None of them were morning people, especially Reminisce, and Khalifa had known this from experience. Either way, all six of them ended up at the front of Aunty Ashanti's doorstep, with the six of them being surprised as to what her house looked like.

"Didn't know your Aunty Ashanti lived in a bungalow," Khalifa whispered to Savannah, who was also thinking the same thing.

Ashanti was always a simplistic person, knowing her, and she didn't really like large things, knowing her again.

She wasn't too materialistic, and even though she had three children, she barely spent money on them, unless it was absolutely necessary.

Something else came into Josiah's mind last minute, that wasn't just Ashanti's house.

It was how Ashanti was Savannah's aunty. That meant that she must have been Sotiria and Zipporah's aunty too, considering how they were Savannah's stepsisters.

"Yeah she is," Zipporah agreed. "She's my father's sister. She must have known Lilibet when my dad and Savannah's mum were still together."

So Ashanti was Lilibet's sister in law. They had actually talked to each other quite a lot, and continued to remain in contact even though Darius and Lilibet were divorced.

They had a choice of keeping in contact when Darius and Lilbet divorced. They decided to still talk to each other, inevitably never mentioning Darius' name when they had talked.

It wasn't fair for Lilibet to stop speaking to her sister in law who she really liked, just because she didn't like Darius.

"What if Ashanti's not awake?" Reminisce fretted.

"She doesn't wake up after 11 unless she's extremely tired," Sotiria remembered. "It's just past ten. I think we should be alright."

Yeah, that should have been alright. What wasn't alright though was how many people there were. Kindly yet quietly, Savannah told everyone to hide as she rang the doorbell.
