Leaving the deputy principal office,
Cale was in between of the irritated Alberu and the indifferent Lee Soo Hyuk on each of his side.
They still couldn't see each other eye to eye.
Was it because Cale chose the empty seat beside deputy principal Ron over theirs?
'Their gaze looked like they could kill multiple birds with it though.'
Cale calmed his poor heart. His council position and his chocolate were at stake; he can't recklessly choose one over another.
Fortunately, the deputy principal didn't say anything much and just moved to the side a bit for him to sit down.
'Come and think of it, the benign old man is also weird..'
Whether he's a school guard or a deputy principal, as long as the red-haired calls the said person respectfully in front of their face, then it's fine, right?
Well, anyway, it was quite weird for that old man who usually used an absolute tone to make him speechless to suddenly not saying anything much, let alone questioning him about why he wants to join the council or such. It's totally opposite of the generous science teacher that he barely met, and yet, had so many questions to ask him..
'Ugh.. whatever. It's not like I care.'
As long as that benign old man didn't have anything up to his sleeve, then, Cale is likely going to have quite a good rest in the next few days. The council recruitment problem was already over anyway.
The red-haired shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
Whatever's going to happen ain't going to stop him from finally having to enjoy his school life normally like any regular students.
The boy was getting excited. He smiled so satisfyingly that he subconsciously called out his hyungs to share the news.
"Hyung, isn't that great? I can finally have a good rest--"
Not even a second later that Cale realized his mistake.
'Oh, f*ck.'
He's doomed.
Both Lee Soo Hyuk and Alberu turned to him. Of course, even before they could even say anything, their eyes were faster than ever.
They were glaring at each other again.
Cale wanted to shake his head, but he can't.
One hyung was ruffling his hair, while another hyung was gripping his shoulder. It's impossible to even sigh.
"Rok Soo, you called me, right? I knew you're going to tell me which chocolate brand you wanted."
"No, Cale, you were definitely calling me because you're going to ask what kind of works you will be doing in the council, right?"
Cale was flabbergasted. God knows when this will end..
"Alberu, I'm a vice prez. I can also tell him about those stuff. So, just focus on your paper works and leave that to me, hmm?"
"But, I'm the prez! I know the member duties best! Plus, don't think that you're the only one who can buy chocolate. You think I don't have money, huh!?
Name the brands, dongsaeng. I'll buy several each."
Cale wanted to close his eyes. So many pass-by students are looking at them now. He felt like he can't handle any more embarrassment.
"Hyungs, stop arguing. You're attracting too many eyes." The dongsaeng finally decided to put a stop at this competitive stage.
Alberu and Lee Soo Hyuk chimmed in together; they're quite synchronous.
