.
By the school gate, was Barrow who is about to leave for somewhere after the rainy day.
Though, as soon as he felt another persistent thing following behind, he deliberately halted his steps, fully expecting that the other side would get what he will be talking about.
“Getting hit for something that I didn’t really mean like that is a little bit annoying..”
“..don’t you think so..?”
“..Fredo.”
As the redhead called out the identity of the particular person, Fredo took a step forward, positioning himself before the somewhat unsurprised Barrow.
“Is it just me or does everyone seem to be following me around so much lately?”
Nonchalantly, chattering started to flow out the man’s mouth.
First, it was Choi Jung Soo who appeared to be quite bold, for someone who’d always avoid taking risks.
Then now, it is Fredo, showing himself up as though they were still ‘friends’.
Thus, wouldn’t it be weird if Barrow were to dismiss it as a normal occasion?
Of course, the most ‘normal’ occasion for him, would be beating those persistent individuals up, and not letting them go with just a few warnings.
“Well— if it wasn’t for those glaring gazes, I would have thought you’re here to ask for my autograph or something.”
Sneering, surely, Barrow seemed to have already prepared many sarcasms to annoy this fellow whom he barely saw around after the man ‘switched’ sides.
But, just like the cold, unsympathized Barrow, unfortunately, Fredo, too, had already saw through the redhead’s attitude in advance, as he had also gotten himself ready.
For this day where he would, once again, talk face-to-face to this more-than-just-familiar person in front of him.
”..seeing you’re still able to joke around, I guess a slap wasn’t enough to wake you up?”
“Ahh, rather than waking up, could it be that you’ve stayed awake for too long that you’re in need of some sleep? Since you had insomnia, after all.”
At an unexpected counter, Barrow violently shook, in ridiculousness, if anything.
“Pfft.. you’ve become much cheekier in just a few months that we haven’t been together, Fredo.”
Calling the light grey-haired’s name, he seemed quite amused, that his ‘once’ friend would be so against him, for the ever first time that they’ve met in a long while.
“Should I be sad that I can’t see the old you anymore? Or should I be glad now that you’ve finally been able to stand up for yourself?”
Of course, that still didn’t stop Barrow from triggering the nerves of the other side.
“Spare your chattering on someone else. I’m not here to listen to your trashy talks today.”
Well— except that Fredo wasn’t here for such a nonsensical talk, that he had to immediately change the topic.
Making Barrow a little bit curious as to what brought Fredo here, to confront the him whom he despised of the most.
“Is that so? Then..” “..what is it that brings an honourable council member here?”
