.

We may be similar to one another.

Including how we could accurately guess each other’s move and how we see through each other’s thoughts.

However.

There is one thing that I have while you don’t.

You.

Can never do what I can.

Yes, you may be able come up with it or even know what to do with it.

But, you can never have the guts to do them.

And that, is your very weakness.

“Rok Soo-yah.”

.

“Rok Soo-yah.”

For once, a word that Kim Rok Soo wished to hear, no longer holds any genuine sincerity.

Why..?

Raising up his head, Barrow was there, smiling and calling the boy of the nickname that he had used back then when they were young.

Ever so tenderly, to the point that there was almost no malice being detected within such a gentle voice.

Would things have been different if Barrow had addressed him as such from the beginning?

Would the name have even just a little meaning, if he had done so before relaying all those harsh remarks?

Perhaps, it would.

Except that now, things are no longer the same as before.

“..to think that you still have the guts to call me that after all that you’ve said and done...”

As if Kim Rok Soo had confirmed everything, the boy vividly spoke.

With his pair of eyes desolating in agony.

“You must be out of your mind.”

“Pffft, you only realize that now?”

Unfortunately, Barrow’s attitude still remains punchable, as he kept on sneering and mocking the red-haired of whatever he prepared to say.

For him who seemed to be amused that Kim Rok Soo had only retaliated now, when he should have done so long ago.

In unperturbed manner, Kim Rok Soo briefly stared at the man.

Then, he who no longer wanted to drag on this mental confrontation, gradually blurted things out, way easier that how the restless the statement should have sounded.

“Since you were proposing the three questions to mentally break me..”

“You must feel regretful that you couldn’t properly answer the second one, right?”

As if what he said contains no sort of sensitive meaning at all.

At such a claim, Barrow scoffed.

“If that’s your angle of making me agree to answer another question, then, leave it right there.”

“I have no interest in taking back my words of ‘truthfully’ answering only three questions.”

Frowning at Barrow’s response, Kim Rok Soo tried to counter his words.

“You leave me no choices—”
