"Cale~! Help me choose something please~~"

Urging, Kim Rok Soo rumbled at his friend continuously.

It was on a very sunny day.

With them currently having little break between class sessions, the duo were used to exchange each others of many passionate talks like how their life goes, or what they had experienced recently.

And, today was similarly like any other days.

"What is it this time?"

As an older, Cale was always asked of what he thought about this and that.

And thus, whenever there's something that bothered Kim Rok Soo, the boy would always come to him within a blink of eyes. It was to the point that Cale actually doubted if his friend was really that so-called 'smart kid' that everyone's been referring him to.

On the one hand, Cale wasn't very fond of this particular topic.

It was probably because he thought of his own suggestions as something that wasn't that much exaggerated like Kim Rok Soo made it sounded.

Though, on the other hand,

'I'm glad, he relies on me.'

Cale couldn't help but smiled.

If being an orphan was an unchangeable fact that upset him, then, probably, meeting this very kid that needed him for who he is, was the most gifted thing that he was ever received.

Spacing out with his own thought, it took awhile for Kim Rok Soo's voice to reach him.

"..Cale? Are you listening?! I'm asking for your opinion, not for you to smile out of nowhere!!"

"Ohh.. yeah, what was it again?"

"Ugh.. I was saying that Aunt Jour is coming..! I haven't prepared her a gift yet, what am I gonna do??"

'It's aunt Jour again...'

Upon the mentioning of this 'aunt Jour', Cale always had this particular thought once in a long while, but..

'It's been more than a thousand times that he's talked of her now..'

What's so special about this person? To the point that Kim Rok Soo, who doesn't even talk about his own father, brought her up this much?

It was.. something that Cale has yet to understand.

"Won't anything do?" The redhead then responded after some thoughts. "You said she loves every of your gifts, so wouldn't she like the next one as well?"

"Ugh.. it's precisely because she acted like this that the past me always got something I like for her... but that won't do..! I've grown up now, I should seriously think of her gift for once!"

"..."

'Then, grow up enough to decide things on your own...'

Was what Cale wanted to retort, but held back because he was afraid Kim Rok Soo would act up and mad at him again.

Previously, it took him almost a week to make up with this unpredictable little guy after all.

"No.. but- it won't make any different if you're going to ask for my suggestion, will it?"
