How did it come to this?

Settling down on a quiet bench surrounded by bushes of plants and flowers, were two redheads that took their time, remaining in silence.

Anxious, excited, overwhelmed, was the one sitting on the left. The color of his hair appeared to be less darker, implying the dye that could never imitate the real color.

What was the first thing he wanted to say?

Kim Rok Soo did not know.

He might be the one suggesting the talk, however, nothing seemed to appear on his mind. Or perhaps, his smart, yet, chaotic brain just thought of too many things that he did not know which one to bring up first.

In the midst of his indecisiveness, he took a glance at the person beside him.

With a hair color as bright as a red tinge of the sunset, the man whom the color belongs to, fixated his indifferent, unconcerned gaze on the field of green plants in front of them.

What was 'he' thinking when he had that casual looks on his gaze, completely opposite from the unsettled Kim Rok Soo?

"Cale..."

More than ever gentle, Kim Rok Soo wore the softest tone; his tender voice echoed through the garden under the heating sun, breaking the whole silence of the two.

His first word, was the very question that has been bothering him ever since he found out that his childhood friend turns out to be 'that' Cale Barrow.

***

A day earlier,

After his tiring PE class, and— especially, the weird Clopeh Sekka that uselessly kept bringing him the ball to score the goal— Cale finally freshened up, after cooling in the air conditioner at the changing room.

With Choi Jung Soo, Choi Han and a few other quiet classmates, he was able to change back to his school uniform quickly and peacefully.

Choi Han was the first one to finish changing. He was tidying up his closet, putting his used sportswear in a bag before shutting the locker.

Turning around, Cale, who was similarly done, had a dazzling armband on his upper right arm, wrapping around his long-sleeved uniform.

The red-haired noticed Choi Han's gaze as he slightly smiled, making the other side immediately blurt out.

"Blue badge is really well-suited on you, Cale-nim."

Pointed at the student council badge on Cale, Choi Han nonchalantly made a comment.

If it weren't for the fact that the student council and his dc had the same objective — to win over the WS gang, Choi Han would probably not say things so intimately, for he would like it better if Cale would wear the same yellow badge as him, with a sun symbol of Disciplinary Committee.

But now that the misunderstanding is resolved, whoever Cale works with, would never be a problem anymore.

The very last thing that he wanted to see, was the WS getting president council position and changing every school rules to his liking — which would very likely be every students' nightmare.
