The children were shuddering as they walked across a crooked platform.
"I-I'm f-freezing," Agapi whimpered, clinging onto Vouno arm. He wrapped his Cape around both of them and draped it over Agapi head hoping it would make a difference to the tempurature. But it was so cold that their teeth chattered beneath their cold shudder breath bouncing off their ice cold masks.
The platform lead to what seemed the top of a tornado, it was spirals of green clouds that was slowly pulling their bodies in like a magnetic force.
Agapi gripped her hands around Vounos arms. His face suddenly felt hot, amongst his ice cold body.
He turned to face the scared girl and wrapped his arms around her tight.
"I'm n-not going to l-let go OK? You n-need to trust m-me with this. I-I'm going to jump on the c-count of three,"
Agapi nodded into his chest and held for her life.
"One," Vouno muttered.
"Two," Agapi whispered.
"THREE!" They both yelled as Vouno ducked down and lifted his feet from the ground tilting his body backwards. They began to fall through the green clouds, holding on to one another.
The fall seemed to be too long. But he couldn't tell where the ground was. He hadn't thought this through properly, panic and fear hit him.
Where's the ground!?
Where's the ground!?
Where's the ground!?
Where's the-Thud

The tired boy forced his eyes open. A stinging pain of shock ran through his body. He tried to lift his head, but it felt like weights were holding it down.
He flipped his body to its sides, hoping he could pry his little body onto his legs easier.
With his arms shaking he pushed his body off the ground, his eyes darted from one corner of the place to another.
The place was dark and cold, it's floor was sand and murkey water. Black bricks coated in dust were layed through the water like stepping stones. The sky was only worse, it wasn't the pleasent blue skies they had been visited with before, it was a ominous gloomy green sky.
Vouno looked beside him to see Agapi lying on her side.
He knelt down beside her body and gently shook her shoulders.
"Agapi? Agapi wake up, come on," he whispered, as if someone was listening.
Agapi scrunched her eyes under her now cracked mask. She lifted a hand to her face and tossed her hair away from it.
Vouno helped her sit up. As soon as her head wasn't touching the ground, she faced away from him and lifted her mask off her mouth, covering it with her hand.
"Im going to be sick," she gagged. Vouno placed one hand on her shoulder and used the other to hold her hair back, trying not to look at her face.
After a few seconds of sitting and waiting. Agapi took a deep breath and pulled her mask back over her mouth.
"I'm OK, Im OK, let's go," she said, slowly getting up with the help of Vouno.

They began to slide down hills of dark sand, hopping over the broken bricks avoiding the black water and observing some very odd creatures.
Agapi stopped and stared at a rock on the ground.
"What's wrong? It's just a rock," Vouno asked.
"It moved. I saw it"
"what?" Vouno was very confused.
Indeed, the rock began to shudder, four small rocks emerged from beneath it, almost like legs, and pushed the big rock off the ground. It was still quite small, but oddly scary, it's glowing white eyes spun round and met Agapi's gaze, she jumped.
The rock began to turn red, shaking in anger.
"Uhhhh...maybe we should goOO-!" Vouno gripped onto Agapi's wrist and dashed away as the rock came charging towards them at full speed.
It was quite funny to watch the small creature run so fast, but still intense as if that rock caught up to the children they would be walking away from the consequences with scars.
Vouno leaped over a large wall of black rock hurdling Agapi with him, he looked over the wall to see the creature run straight into it and flip over.
He chuckled, "what was that?" getting his breath back.
Agapi leant on the wall catching her croaky breath.
"I think.... There called.. The Dark crabs, but.. The kids at home just... Call them crabs for short," She huffed and puffed.
Vouno chuckled again, it was an odd name for something so different.

They walked across the sand hills to find a large entrance to an old Palace. By the opening were two tall statues coating in debris and sand.
They entered the long hallway arm in arm, hoping it would be warmer.
It was an open room with abandoned broken pieces of the Palace, the murkey water would burn through the children's capes.
Agapi held onto Vouno tight, "I-it didn't look this s-scary in the book," it was still freezing.
The children tried to stay comforted, but it was their next sight that made their stomache sink.
A long spider like creature arose from the pitch black water. It had ten legs that hung in the wind, its anteners were like long spikes, it was completely black, you couldn't even see it right, it floated in the air, slowly moving towards the children.
Vounos eyes opened wide, Agapi didn't move.
Vouno gripped onto Agapis arms and tried to run to the side of the platform, but Agapi didn't budge, she stood staring at the long creature, it was getting closer and closer.
