Things were changing - or rather Zena was changing things. At the Facility, things had gotten much, much worse. The Watchers had become what the Voidwalkers had been telling all of Minecraft. Only Xenia properly knew what was going on but she couldn't stop it. She'd nearly drained all of her magic trying to fix it but with no results. Pearl and Xenia would talk together just so the girls could keep their sanity.
Zena had been changing every rule that Xen had set. If any of the Watchers felt as though this was insulting their former leader's memory, they weren't showing it at all. Zena made it compulsory to wear a certain kind of mask made of materials exclusive to the End.
Every Watcher wore this mask except those down in the dungeons. Xenia felt as though there was something suspicious about this mask. She made her own and it was so well made, no one could tell the difference if they tried.
Zena wore a mask as well just to hide her eyes. Why? She hid them because they were changing. They were no longer like the rest of her family's - they were darkening. They now were a stunningly beautiful shade of violet. They were rich in color and they could silence anyone with a glance. It was like looking out into space, noting all the rich shades of blue, purple and black. No one knew why she wanted to hide it but she did.
Back at Hermitcraft, Grian was getting small whispers in his head. He couldn't tell whether the voice was male or female. He could - however - tell the nature of the voice. It seemed comforting, like he had a fun relationship with the speaker. It felt like the person wanted help - it seemed like he knew that person and he wanted to go to them. It was odd but it was what he needed to keep his mind off of his past.

Mumbo had called Grian to meet him which wasn't out of the ordinary but something felt wrong. He flew towards Mumbo's storage system where the redstoner had told to meet Grian. The gremlin landed with a soft thump on the floor, right in front of Mumbo, nearly crashing right into him. "Hello Grian!" said Mumbo with a small wave. It was Mumbo speaking, right? Something felt wrong. It felt as though it was an enemy speaking to him - not his best friend.
"Grian? What's wrong?" asked Mumbo in what felt suspiciously like the grandma-in-a-candy-house voice. "I- I-" Grian stuttered. How could he tell his best friend what he felt? Especially when his best friend gave off enemy vibes. It was just different, it was wrong.
"Grian, tell me, how long will you take?" Now Grian was sure this wasn't Mumbo. The spoon would never pressurize Grian. Mumbo would die first - which he did. A lot. Something was wrong - very wrong. "Mumbo..." No response. Mumbo was just staring blankly at Grian.
The young gremlin took a step back... another step... Mumbo still did nothing. It was creepy, it wasn't normal. Grian took another step back but this time Mumbo took a step forwards. Grian backed up and Mumbo kept advancing. Mumbo began glitching but it wasn't the glitch where the player went in and out of existence - no, that was normal.
Mumbo was glitching from being himself and being the last person Grian wanted to see. Had Zena found him already? No, that wasn't possible. His world began spinning. Everything became a messy blur of colors flashing around him. Grian let out an inaudible scream and collapsed to his knees. When it stopped, he looked up to see his sister towering over him in a menacing way.
"Come home, Xelqua." was all she said before the world went black for Grian. "NO!" he yelled, getting up in a shock. Zena wanted to tell him something. She wanted Hermitcraft destroyed as soon as possible. She knew Grian was delaying. She knew he planned to keep all of the Hermits alive. She knew more than Grian thought she knew. If Grian didn't stop hiding from Zena...
She'd destroy his home along with all of his friends. Just like she destroyed Evo.
