Xisuma's death wasn't taken lightly at all. When Doc stepped through, holding the limp admin, all hell broke loose. No one could bear to come out of their base and face reality. With Xisuma gone, second in charge was naturally Xenia. She was still shattered and trembling but she stood up on shaking legs, taking the job.

With Zena's help, she took up the role and led the Hermits well, even though most of the Hermits were basically gone as well. Xia didn't know how to bring them out but she personally didn't want to. They could grieve. She could grieve. Every time she opened up her admin screens to fix a bug, she was reminded painfully of her dead brother.

Xenia sat down on top of Grian's base. She could hear the little Hermit inside, whimpering to himself but she made no move to comfort him. Listening more, she heard the shuffle of feet inside and Mumbo's soothing voice. Soon, it was silent in there. Curious, the newly-stated admin looked inside.

Grian slept with his head on Mumbo's lap. The taller one kept stroking his hair and muttering stuff like "It'll be okay," and "Go to bed," Xenia couldn't control it. "I ship it," she whispered under her breath as she flew up to the top. Looking at the setting sun, she allowed tears to pour. The tears of many emotions flowing down her face.

She was shattered.
She was angry.
She was slightly happy some of the Hermits were doing well.
She was scared.
She was stressed.
But most of all,
She missed her brother.

She was so curled up in her own thoughts, she didn't notice Hels land right next to her. After a minute, she noticed him but decided not to show it. "I hate life," she mumbled off into the distance "It's unfair and it takes away those I love most. But I guess life has brought me to you."

She reached around and gave Hels a little peck on the cheek.

He blushed and so did she. This moment was so romantic, she couldn't let it go. "I love you Hels. I-I always have..." she trailed off, not trying to hide any of her emotions. "So do I," and at that moment, all of her dreams came true. Sure, fairy princesses didn't exist but Hels did and that's all she needed.

"Thanks," she murmured, laying her head in his. He stroked her hair with his hand and Xenia felt the warmth extremely comforting. She chuckled a choked chuckle as she wondered what Xisuma would say to them. Probably something like 'Finally, sis!' In the distance she heard his guitar strumming in the distance. It was one of the songs he could never get right when they were younger and she'd always playfully tease him for it.

But this time, to Xenia, it sounded perfect.

Xisuma found himself in an odd place. It was like the Void but... white. It was just like the place Xenia had described. "Where am I?" he asked. A sweet, motherly voice rang out and in the distance, he saw a figure. "Come with me, darling." she said simply. Xisuma was stunned. "Mom?"

"Indeed." said his mother as if this was a normal, daily occurrence. Dying and meeting his mother. When the admin tried to speak, words wouldn't form in his mouth, "I- Where-?" His mother on the other hand didn't seem to catch his confusion. Xia mustn't have been this confused. He wasn't Xia, though.

"Come to me..." His mother seemed eager to embrace him, to make sure he was real. To make sure he knew her. Xisuma, however, was still confused. "I-I," Xisuma's mother seemed to be reliving memories. Perhaps they were memories of when he was littler. "I haven't seen you in so long, darling..." Yep, definitely.

Finally coming to his senses, he wondered. "Am - am I d-dead?" When his mother's voice rang out, he realized he said that aloud. "Yes, but no..." What did that mean? How can one be dead but not? "Wh-what?" Xisuma's mother shook her head as if she were saying 'Not now, dear. Perhaps when we meet again...'

"Do you want to go home?" This question was unexpected. Of course he wanted to go home. Why wouldn't he? But then... "Where is home?" His mother smiled. That smile was light as if she knew all the answers for him and maybe she did, maybe she didn't. Who was he to say? "The place you long for the most..."

Magic swirled around Xisuma, encasing him. He took one last glance at his mother. She waved goodbye, albeit a little sadly. He waved goodbye back. When the magic finally stopped swirling, he looked at his surroundings. Xisuma seemed to be on an island. A small one in the middle of the ocean. A bunch of people stood around him.

Wait a minute. These weren't just people. This was his family. Xisuma had little time to register anything before a flurry of white hair barreled straight into him. "You. Stupid. Derp!" Xisuma felt all bitter feelings wash away. "I missed ya too," Everyone closed in, tears of happiness mingled with the excited shouts.

His mother promised home. This was Hermitcraft. This was home.
