So, basically, you guys know the story of YHS. So basically Sam kills Taurtis and forced Grian to dress up as Taurtis.
Then Grian, using Watcher magic (which he used to hide his wings with to avoid questions) resurrected Taurtis and pushed him through a portal. So basically Taurtis is alive now and Grian...
