Lunch Time Blues

I'm in the middle of a discussion but, I'm not paying attention, and it's either I stare at the wall clock or stare at Maddie's back, lunch time feels like an eternity away, so basically at lunch time I have two choice's, its either eat and be silent or steal glances at Maddie and eat... but either way I felt like dying, you know why? because these past few days, Maddie is starting to get close with Espejo, a view which I find to be irritating, mood wrecking, and oh it's also a heart crushing scene...

Imagine, my woman is slowly being stolen away from me! just right under my nose! My woman is smiling because of a man that doesn't deserve her presence, he doesn't even deserve her smiles for Pete's sake!

But then again de Leon, Ms. Madayag is not yours, never been, and never will be... my mind butted in.

And oh? Did I forget to mention that most of the time, Maddie eats lunch with that Espejo guy! like damn! I lose my appetite even though I'm so damn hungry whenever I see the two of them together...

Sometimes, Therese is better than Maddie, I mean, Tey is always there she comforts me, and listen to my rants, she's always there... and because of that I started to wonder what if I liked Therese then maybe I at least have a 4 or 5 percent chance right? But dang I still love Maddie, I love Maddie so darn much!

A familiar 'ring' boomed in the room.

I sighed; and there goes the darn bell, I swear if Maddie and Espejo are eating lunch together today, then my lunch time blues would officially start.

I lazily shoved my things inside my bag, then I saw Maddie smiling at me.

"Sabay tayo maglunch?" she smiled sweetly, and I swear, her smile made my heart melt, but who am I kidding? just her presence makes my heart melt like ice cream on a hot summer day.

"u-uhm ok, but isn't Espejo coming with you?"

"nah, mas gusto kong kasama ka."

I smiled

Maddie was looking straight ahead so I thought of something really stupid, I placed my finger near her cheek then I called her...

Ayun nasundot yung mukha hahaha

"Para kang bata Bei."
She laughed whole heartedly.

"Ikaw nga rin eh, may tanong ako sayo "

"Ano naman yun?"

Mahal mo ba ako? "Uhm do you believe in destiny?" Darn Bei! What kind of question is that?!

Maddie was looking at me with the are-you-serious-look

"Uhm, yes? But people shouldn't just wait for destiny, because for me just like time, destiny moves too."

Napanganga ako sa sinabi ni Maddie

Lumapit sya sakin at hinawakan ang baba ko

"Isara mo yan baka may makapasok na kung anong UFO dyan."

"Huh? Maddie, di kasya ang spaceship sa bibig ko."

Mahina nya namang pinitik ang noo ko

"Unidentified Foreign Object, sus! Tara na nga." tapos kinuha nya naman ang kamay ko, as in Holding hands

Kinabahan ako bigla, pucha! Nagsisimula nang magproduce ng pawis ang palad ko, pero ayaw ko naman bitawan ang kamay ni Maddie

Hanggang sa Caf eh, magkahawak kamay kami, pati sa pag-order ganun din, nabitawan lang namin ang kamay ng isa't isa nung may hawak na kaming tray, agad naman kaming nakahanap ng mauupuan.
