Chapter 15 - The Dinner

The day flew by, we were so busy getting the artwork ready for the new album. I spent most of the day at my desk, and by the time 5pm came by I felt like I was about to pass out. I logged off and turned the office lights off, closing the door behind me, the house was quiet, and I made my way to my bedroom, not sure where everyone was, I jumped in the shower immediately, I had 2 hours before dinner with Jason, as the water calmed me down I closed my eyes and pictured the caramel eyes, the hot water washed over me and I remembered his touch, like fire burning me, I couldn't explain it any other way. As I got out of the shower I heard a car door slam and I looked out the window, he was back, my heart raced and I felt a flutter in my stomach, and slowly the fire burned as I saw him walking down the stairs, wearing his black jacket, he looked amazing, smart, sexy and so truly breathtaking. I quickly went to the balcony door careful not to let him see me, Jason was out there and they were having a heated exchange. I couldn't hear what was being said but from what it looked like, I didn't think it was good. 

I went to my closet and tried to figure out what to wear, as I stood there staring at my clothes my phone beeped. I picked it up, it was Liv, "Hey, hows life in the City of Angels?" I smiled and typed "It's hot, I can't even explain, dinner tonight with Jason." and hit send. I turned back to my closet, he did say it's a casual restaurant, I figured I would wear my black skirt with black pumps, looking through the tops I owned in my closet, I realised I needed to go shopping, I figured something short sleeved, it was way too hot for anything else. I picked out a deep blue silk top which had cut off sleeves, it was shiny, I thought it would look good with the black. As I dried my hair I started getting excited, my phone beeped again "Dinner with Jason?!?! You're killing me right now sis! Please get a photo???" I giggled at her message, she got completely excited every time I messaged her about him, I remember telling her about his eyes, the way he smelled and I think she may have literally passed out on the other end, she took a while to answer after I sent her that. I hadn't had too much time since I arrived to talk to her much and I felt bad, I was excited to catch her up on everything. 

I typed my reply "Yea, sure, I am just going to tell my new boss I need pics of him to send off to my sister, haha" and hit send. I finished my hair and put on some eyeliner and added a soft pink gloss, I picked up my phone and made my way downstairs, there he was, sitting in the living room, he looked up and his caramel eyes roamed from my feet up to my eyes and I felt myself shiver, he looked like an animal stalking his prey. "Hi, uhm, will you be... coming with?" I mumbled, he shook his head "Busy" and turned back to his laptop.

"Right, okay" I walked passed the sofa and out to the patio, and my breath caught, just for a moment, Jason was stood talking on his phone, but the reason I stopped was I saw what he was wearing, he looked, 'smart'... okay yes, he looked sexy. He turned and smiled at me, he had tight black jeans on, his shirt was pure white and his skin was tanned under the white of the shirt, he had black leather jacket on and his hair fell across his face as paced back and forth, I sat down on the chair and waited, I got a sneaky pic of him as he paced and sent it to Liv. I didn't need to wait long for the reply, I didn't think I would, "OMFG How on earth can you even deal?!!?!?!?!" giggling I could picture her jumping up and down, typing quickly "Well, he's just kind of.... normal" send. I anticipated the response and when I opened her reply I was spot on "NORMAL!?!!!?!?!?" I figured I would leave her there for the time being. As I looked up he finished his call, "Ready to go?" I nodded and he looked inside "Bro you coming?" I stood behind Jason, the deep voice came back "No I am busy". Jason turned and put his hand on my lower back leading me to the car, he opened the car door for me and I slid into his Jeep, it smelled of him. He got in and as he started the car a song came on the iPod stereo system and I recognised it, a song from Skyler Grey - I Know You, such a beautiful song, it actually reminded me of his brother, but that's another story.
