After running non stop for hours, we finally made it back to the hotel at exactly 7:35 pm. When we got to our room we expected the guys to be worried about us and take care of us blah blah blah. But we were greeted by drunk leorio dancing around with loud music, and kurapika just slumped on the couch with glasses and a bottle on his hand, Also why's leorio's butt showing?. I can't believe we went to hell for these guys and they're just here... getting drunk. They didn't even notice that we're right in front of them, this would've been an easy kill.

Gon turned the music off.

"What the hell are you guys doing!!" Killua was the first to yell out.

"Whtcha mean killua~~ join us! To celebrate!" leorio said.

"Celebrate? What?" I asked.

"Well can't you see? It's the first sunrise in centuries~~~ haha" leorio said.

"Leorio? It's literally 7:36 in the evening, where's the sun?" Gon asked with a dumbfounded expression.

"The fact that Gon's smarter than you is mind boggling," I said. "Anyways we have to share information, like right now" I said.

"But leorio is too drunk to think, Is kurapika even alive?" Killua said.

"Oh! Don't worry, just watch". Then I activated my water ability and drench them in an instant, making them scream out. Kurapika's scream was the funniest... the man looks like a dead tree brought back to life. As the glasses slowly and dramatically came off his face, he looked like he just saw what light was.

After too much hard work of reviving both leorio and kurapika's senses. Apparently leorio was the one who coerced kurapika into drinking, as expected oof the old man. Thank god kurapika's turned 18, or we'll be turning him in to the cops...

"Damn so y'all went through all that?" leorio said in an apologetic tone.

"Yes thank god for y/n or we would still be there right now" killua said.

"I-i'm so sorry It's all my fault you had to get tortured like that" kurapika said with regret in his voice.

"It's ok kurapika" I grabbed his hand and gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm fine, really".

"Th-thank you y/n and you too Gon and killua. I'm literally blessed with best friends, ''Kurapika smiled. His smile was so contagious that we couldn't help but smile too.

"Anyways I'm tired AF! I'm going to my room" I stand and yawn. "We'll discuss our next move tomorrow, Good night guys " I waved at them as I made my way to my room.

"Goodnight!!" they said in unison. "We're really lucky to have her," leorio said as they all nodded their heads in agreement.

As I went to my room, I undressed and went to take a shower. I close my eyes as the water hits my body. I started to think about how much my friends trust and think highly of me. I couldn't help but wallow in the pool of guilt. My involvement with machi is without a doubt a betrayal to kurapika and everyone else. A bandit, A mere meteor city citizen and I is very much an unspeakable thing. I doubt my dad would be proud.

"Machi..."

'I knew I declared this to myself but... am I really not going to see her again? Now that I think about it, can't kurapika and the spiders form an alliance or something? I can't... No! wtf are you doing y/n! They killed Kurapika's clan and gouged out their eyes. Kurapika's traumatized because of them now and they did it for sport. Machi was one of them. Regardless of our affair, I just can't let that slide! I'll do whatever it takes to put kurapika at ease, that's the least I can do as a friend!'.

I strengthened my resolve as I turnt of the shower. I got out of the bathroom and changed into my pajamas.

"Aaah Goddammit, it's creepy to just sneak into my room while it's dark y'know" I said.

"Hmhmhm as expected of my baby, you really have grown stronger in such a short time~~" a voice came from behind me and hugged me. Though I can't see their face I know exactly who it is.
