"Why? Why does this always happen to me?" Y/N sat in a dark place as she cried silently.

"Why can't I ever have what I want?. Why huh'? Why always me" she cried.

"It's Okay Y/N" a familiar voice spoke to her.

She looked around to see a girl she used to see, now a grown woman like her.

"Other Me?"

"Don't fret Y/N. Everything will work out soon. I understand that you feel suffocated now but remember. 'The darkest hour is always before dawn'. Good luck Y/N" she said before disappearing.

Y/N got up in a hurry.

"Wait! You have to tell me how to get out of here!!"

"...n! y/n!.. Y/N!"

Snapping out of her deep sleep back to reality. Y/N woke up aggressively, breathing as if she had been running a marathon.

"Hey? It's fine. Calm down, okay. Its me machi, ''Machi said as she hugged her distraught lover.

"Oh machi?" Y/N said.

"Yes. it's me, ''Machi replied.

Y/N sighed in relief as she sat up.

"Sorry about that Issue yesterday. Didn't mean to drag you into my mess" Y/N apologized.

"No. No. It's not an inconvenience at all. Thanks to that, I also got to sort out my feelings," Machi smiled as she kisses Y/N.

Y/N's eyes widened at her sudden action.

"What? Should I not have done that?" Machi asked.

"No. it's fine, it's absolutely fine" Y/N smiles before returning Machi's kiss.

"Has pakunoda called?" Y/N asked as she got off the bed.

"No she hasn't, I tried to contact her multiple times but she wasn't picking and then her phone was switched off. I don't know but I have a bad feeling" Machi replied.

"Ooh scary, when you get a bad feeling we know something is wrong" Y/N smiled as she walked to the bathroom.

"Y/N, stop joking around. You should go and look for her" Machi said.

"I'd go once I visit my mom, haven't seen her in half a decade. Also I have a score to settle with my father" Y/N said.

"Fine"

Y/N walked out of her room dressed up and ready to go.

"You're done?" Machi asked.

"Yes. i'm leaving right now" Y/N replied, looking at her phone with an uncertain look.

"What's wrong?"

"Hmm? Nothing it's just, something doesn't feel right. I've always had my mom's number. Just never called her. Tried today and it's not working" Y/N explained.

"y/n you haven't seen her in years, she probably changed her phone" machi said.

"Nope. She's not one to buy new phones every year. She's been using the same phone since I was seven. She doesn't even leave the house cuz she's sick . Aisha should be taking care of her and even she's not picking"
