So I've tweaked pakunoda's ability. I've actually done this for a long time. I just didn't explain it cuz I wasn't needed to as she wasn't fighting.
After the explosion. . .
PAKUNODA POV
"Ungh... what the hell?" I fluttered my eyes open into the dark, though I could see a narrow light peeking through the rubble.
My body was welcomed with incredible body pain. Makes sense, what happened a few seconds ago was sudden, I couldn't protect my body with nen fast enough.
"Thank you, babe" I said, trying to get up but something was missing. I can't really see anything but I can feel someone's hands on me.
"Y/N?" I said but got no response.
Worried, I grabbed her hand and carried her to kick my way out of the sea of stone. But it was difficult for some reason, even with my nen hardened, I could barely break through any of it.
"Ugh, why is a normal wall so hard to break" I breathed.
"Because. . . it isn't" Y/N's voice came from behind me.
"Y/N! Are you okay!?" I asked, though just hearing her voice alone is a massive relief for me.
"It's. . . my ability" she snapped and deactivate the rubble around us crumble.
The sight before me was hell on earth. I mean meteor city's landscape was already fucked but this was insult upon injury.
Everything was broken down as far as the eye can see and by that, I mean, around 2 to 3 inches from me. Everything beyond was blocked. I can't even tell if it's day or night anymore because the atmosphere is so clouded with smoke and dust.
I'm holding Y/N and I can barely see her face in front of me. But as I saw her face clearer and clearer, I was sent into a state of shock. Her face was badly bruised, her jacket was gone, her shoes were gone, leaving her with just her tank top and trousers and even that was half torn.
She must've her sacrificed safety to hold that wall and protect me at the last second.
"Y/N? Y/N... what did you do?!" with tears in my eyes, I asked.
"Hmm... You're okay" she smiled weakly as I felt warmth on my face from her touch, "Please run away... Y...You're... not...safe...here" before she closed her eyes and her hand slowly dropped making my face run cold.
"Y...Y/N? What happened? Open your eyes!" my tears drop uncontrollably and my body is boundlessly shaking. I'm scared, hurt and confused. Worst of all, awful thoughts start to run through my head.
'What if she's dead? No!... No she can't die. Calm down Pakunoda. You're supposed to be level headed at all times. What should I... Yes! I should probably go and get help for her. But... But what if we get help and she really can't make it? I don't want to hear that. I can't have her die, I'll go back to my old self... No! She has to wake up now!'
"Please Y/N! You have to wake up now! You can't leave me! Please!!!!! I...I need to you to stay" I scream to no avail as my tears dropped on her cold pale face. Though my crying trance was interrupted when all the smoke around me was suddenly wiped.
"Aah how pathetic. Aren't you a grown woman? Why're you crying over someone years younger than you?" a voice came from behind me. I look back to see who it was and ... a young lady in a kimono?
"C'mon kalluto, don't be too mean. Also did you just say Y/N? As in Y/N L/N?" an overweight, black haired man beside her said.
"Who are you guys?" I asked.
