I Miss You

Y/N POV

"Hello, why're you not home. I'm looking at our house from a distance but I can't feel your aura" I said to Pakunoda .

". . ."

"Yea I'll be there in about 30 secon- wait why does it matter? Where are you?" I asked.

". . ."

"Ugh are you serious right now? How I'm I supposed to get in without the house key?" I sighed.

". . ."

"Why would I take a flight when I can just fly anyways. You know this! Also I was in a hurry because of the Chrollo situation!"

". . ."

"Y'know Pakunoda, this is my problem with you, you can do this but when I do the same thing, I'm incompetent and immature"

". . ."

"Whatever it's okay, so what do I do, sit in front of the door until you're back from freaking target? That's pretty far even for a car y'know, you're sure you don't want me to pick you up? "

". . ."

"Machi? Well that's a name I haven't heard in years, why's she in our house? You left her there?"

". . ."

"Yes she doesn't have to steal anything but. . . Being in the room alone with her is just. . . I don't know"

". . ."

"Fine! I understand. Just . . . be back as fast as you can, okay?"

". . ."

"Okay babe, love you too" I smiled, hanging up the phone as I landed right in front of our house.

Walking up the stairs leading to our apartment, I realize that I can feel no aura, even though Machi's supposed to be there.

I thought, ''What the hell is she doing' .

Machi. I haven't seen her since the troupe's last mission. I wonder how she's been doing.
Even though I've been occupied with my search and my relationship, I still think about her also from time to time, though it's been so long I don't even remember what she sounds like anymore.

I wonder what talking to her would feel like now. She should be about 25 now right?

I got to the door and opened it, surprisingly it wasn't locked. I walked into the living room and there's nobody there. I can't feel any aura in the house.

"What the hell? Where is she" I said looking around the house.

'How disappointing', I was looking forward to seeing her' I thought then suddenly . . .

"Y/N? Y/N . . . Is that you?" A beautiful voice came from behind me, hitting me with a wave of nostalgia, pretty obvious who that is.

"Aah. . . You're always asking that question everytime huh'' I smiled as I turned around and I . . .

Machi POV

I was awe-struck.

I mean I knew I missed her and I spent most of my days thinking about her for years but I really didn't think I wanted her this badly .

She's grown so much to become such a stunning woman, she's even taller than me now. I didn't think it was possible for her to get even more beautiful than she already was but I guess she hadn't hit her prime yet.
