So this chapter is a little bit rushed so the pacing might be a bit outta place but I'm quite busy rn so it's not my fault tbh. . .

3RD POV

Y/N suddenly opens her eyes to a room, she was confused as to why she was on a bed sleeping when she was just in a fierce battle.

"Was all that a dream, Thank God I was so scared of myself" she sighed in relief.

"Y/N!?" a familiar voice suddenly called out to her.

She looked to see who it was, and it was Machi, who has a worried look on her face.

"Y/N, is that you?" Machi said slowly walking up to her.

'What a stupid question, who else would it be' Y/N thought.

"Y/N? Is that really-"

"Yes machi, that is really me. Why else would it not be me" Y/N cuts her off.

"Tch what's with the attitude?" Said Machi.

"Why would you even ask such a stupid question?" Y/N yawned.

" Oh I don't know maybe because you almost killed 100s of kids yesterday" Machi replied sternly.

Y/N frozen as she looked at Machi with widened eyes to see if she's lying, she instantly realized that she isn't.

"Shit! That wasn't a dream?" Y/N jumped up from her bed and began to panic.

"I-I swear to God I didn't mean to, I had no control over my actions! Those kids . . . I didn't know what I was doing! I don't even remember everything that happened. I swear it's not-" .

"Y/N! Y/N! Listen to me, It's okay. No child got hurt, it's fine" Machi pulled y/n to a hug to try and calm her down.

Resting Y/N's head on her chest and patting her back was a technique that seemed to work as Y/N calm down to her soon after.

"Y/N it's fine, the boss was able to come on time to stop you and nobody got hurt." she said.

"Oh?. . . That's good then, Thank you" Y/N said.

". . . . ."

". . . . ."

"Um machi? You're squeezing me?" Y/N pointed out as machi was now hugging her for quite a while.

"Hmm? Oh... I'm sorry I didn't mean to" machi flusteredly replied as stepped back from Y/N.

". . . . ."

". . . . ."

"So y/n, about what happened yesterday," said Machi as she breaking eye contact with Y/N.

"Yesterday? What'd you mean?" Y/N replied.

"Well about what you said to Shiba, about me and..." Machi said as somehow tries to look at anything except Y/N's eyes.

"I said a lot of things machi... can you be more specific?" said Y/N in visible confusion.

"I mean. . . when you said you couldn't abandon me. Do. . . Does that mean you still care about me?" asked machi.

She intentionally made the question direct so Y/N wouldn't be able to cunningly dodge the question. Though she still can't look straight at Y/N.

"Huh? Why would you ask that now?" Y/N remembering what she said about Machi the night before, suddenly gets nervous.
