Y/N POV

"What do you want? Machi." I said with a bored tone as I continued making my bed.
"C'mon what's with the attitude? You're not happy to see me?" she grabs my arm, making me stop what I was doing.
"No I'm just ti- hold on, how do you even know I'm here?" I asked as my voice finally showed a hint of care.
"Well i didn't know when i'll see you so I attached my strings to your shoelaces" she said as she showed me her string.

I looked at her in confusion, I can see things hidden with EN without needing GYO. But this one was so well hidden that I didn't even sense it.

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes and proceeded to sit on my bed. "Why are you here?" I asked again.
"I came to see my girlfriend duh'" she said as she sat beside me.
"Girlfriend? When did we start dating?" I asked and I laid on my bed preparing to sleep.
"Well we are now... and you know what girlfriends do?" She posed herself on top of me and examined my face before looking into my eyes. "They tell each other when something's bothering them. Tell me, what's wrong?".
"Machi... the problem is..." I averted my gaze, unable to look at her for some reason. "This... us... has to stop?" I said. Silence engulfs the room and I can feel her staring lasers in my head, and she's a couple inches from my face so that didn't help.
"I... don't... I don't understand" she said, "why?"
"Good question. First of all, this relationship is not even legal" I said.
"The law? Are you serious right now?" she genuinely couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Yes! The law! Secondly, you're a troupe member, I can't just let the fact that you're dangerous to my friends slide y'know?" i continued "Not to mention, me dating a meteor city citizen isn't a good look for my family y'know"

"Your family? Who the hell is you-"

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Hey kurapika- I was just about to go to sleep. You need something?" I asked.
"Yea, I just needed to make sure you were okay, and hmm- i'm sorry" he said
"Sorry? For what?"
"Because I put you through so much trouble, for my sake"
"Kurapika? Y'know I love you guys and I'll do anything for your sake" I held his hand. "Instead of a sorry, I'll like a thank you instead. That way I feel appreciated" I said.

*CHU*

"What the hell is that?"
"O-oh! It's nothing, it's just my phone letting me know it's bedtime ''I said nervously. "Meaning you have to get out, i'm sleepy asf yaaaaaaw" I fake yawned.
"Okay i'll leave. Goodnight"
"Yea bye" I said as I shut the door.

"Dude you need to shut the fuck up" I turned around to machi as she gets down from the wardrobe that she was sitting on.

"What can I say? It's the sneeze's fault!" she chuckled, and I couldn't help but follow.

"That was so close, not only was your hiding spot garbage, you were making sounds for no reason haha" i said. We laughed together for about a minute before going back to the topic before.

"Machi look- we have to stop-" I moved closer.

"No! Why y/n? Why're you so selfish?" machi moves closer.

"Selfish? What do you mean? I'm doing this for my friends, y'know" I said.

"Okay? What about me? Did you even think about my feelings?" She closes the distance and brings my face closer to hers. "We can't just stop now that we're this far deep" she backs me up against the wall and grabs my chin.

"Please" I said as I looked into her eyes and I literally could not look away.

"I want you to be mine, I want to be with you regardless of what I have to do for it"she said. She smashes her lips onto mine and like literally every time she does that, I couldn't resist . It's almost like I've stopped thinking.

"Machi I want nothing but to be yours and only yours" I said. I was addicted to that 'machi drug' hard. But after a couple minutes of us kissing and groping each other. I break the kiss.

"Machi? What do we do?" I said.

"What do you mean?" she asks.

"I mean we still have grave enemies as friends. We can't continue this relationship like this" I said.

"Damn, that's true... ok what if... we both abandon them and run away. Just the two of us?"

"What? That's crazy" I said.

"I would do nothing for us to be together Y/N..." she replied. "Nobody in this world is more important to me than you. Do you not want to be with me?" she asks with a hurt expression.

"O-of course I do, it's just to leave Gon,Killua,Kurapika and leorio? It's just-" I was cut off by her kissing me passionately.

"Don't you want to be able to do that with me everyday" she breaks the kiss. "Come with me babe, Money wouldn't be a problem for either of us and we have each other. We have nothing to lose. Please be by my side y/n" she said.

"Hmm okay fine- I'll pack a few things wait for me" I said.

"Okay sounds good, I'll wait for you". She got off me and sat by the window.

I packed some of my belongings and changed my clothes into a black sweater. I was going to write a letter to my friends but It just felt weird so I decided not to. I'm so disappointed in myself. My resolve was shattered with just her talking to me for a bit. Fuck! My dad didn't raise me to be such a bitch. But what can I do? My heart desires what it desires.

We're coming closer to the end of the first half of the story. I was debating on whether to just keep adding parts to this work or to just end this one and make a part two for the second half. I'm still on the fence about it, if anyone has an opinion on it voicing would be appreciated.
