Attack On Spiders

I haven't been updating a lot like before. It's just my schedule has gotten incredibly tighter as I'm now in training for my career so I'd be updating much slower. Tysm.

The Next day...

3RD POV

"Shalnark, is this all you found at the scene?" Y/N asked, holding a single nen infused needle.

"Yes. Just that? It was right inside Chrollo's left eye" he said casually as if he's seen it all.

"Inside his eye!?" Machi screamed, struggling to believe what he just said.

"Whoever did this has to pay" Feitan says , gritting his teeth and Phinks punched the church wall in anger.

The spiders were beyond livid. The atmosphere among them right now wasn't something that can be easily handled. None of them knows who did this to their comrades, but they all know whoever it was, has to be a force to be reckoned with.

Currently, Chrollo, Y/N and Feitan were the strongest of the troupe. Though Y/N and Chrollo never really spared, Feitan was below them. So if the boss, along with a few of the most experienced killers in the troupe being murdered easily made them realize something.

'WHOEVER IT WAS COULD END US ALL EASILY'

For the first time ever, the troupe weren't the hunters but the preys. The fact that these culprits were anonymous and could be anywhere put them all on edge.

Even the hardened ones like Feitan, Phinks and a bubbly person like shalnark all felt the same thing. Something they haven't felt in a long time.

Fear.

The silence was loud but their hearts were incredibly distorted. Well, all except y/n, who has also been awfully quiet, but for a different reason.

"Shalnark, is this the only thing you found in the scene?" She asked again.

Shalnark frustrated by the question replied "Yes! Y/N I just said tha-"

"Hmm a yellow labeled needle huh' doesn't that remind you of a certain someone?" She said.

"No it doesn't. I don't remember any nen user with a yellow labeled needle. Do you guys know anyone like that?" He asks the rest of them and they all nodded otherwise.

"Hmm I see. Lemme explain, see, when I was younger I had a group of friends, who we took the exams together and all wanted to become hunters for our own reasons" She explained.

"The one hisoka was in?" Machi asked.

"Yes. That one, was about eight years ago I think. We were all very talented in our own ways. Though some more than others. One of these talents I befriended was a boy named Killua Zoldyck" I said, everyone's interested skyrocketed as they heard the 'zoldyck' part.

"A zoldyck!?" Pakunoda said with widened eyes.

"He was one of the best applicants, more powerful than myself at the time but due to a certain someone, he still didn't pass. His older brother illumi zoldyck"

" So what does this have to do with anything" Feitan interrupted in annoyance.

"Shorty, I'm not done, the thing is that his older brother used this exact type of needles at the time. Infact of all the nen users I've encountered in my life time, he's the only one that uses yellow needles. Exactly made like this. I can't tell what kind of nen he used at the time, cuz I wasn't a nen user. But this is the exact needle" Y/N explained.

"So what you're saying is that, the Zoldycks did this? That's quite the statement y'know " Shalnark says.

"Not to mention, with how the underground world is right now, only the big three are powerful enough to could hurt eachother. Bonten, The phantom troupe and obviously the Zoldycks. Bonten belongs to my father and he's friends with both Chrollo and Silva, meaning if a fight were to break out between those two. He'd most likely staying neutral since he's close with both" said Y/N.

"That wouldn't be too far fetched. The boss had always had issues with Silva and his people. He's fought them multiple times over the years and..."

"I see. Those zoldyck bastards will pay!!" Phinks yells as he stomps the ground.

"Phinks, calm down she's not done" shalnark tries to appease him though he's quite angry himself.

"Shut up! I never liked those shady bastards anyways! I knew nothing good will come out of them" Phinks dusts shalnark off him and walks out of the church.

"They will pay. I will kill them all of its the last thing I do" Feitan releases blood lust as he follows after Phinks.

"Aah I'm sorry y/n, it's just..."

"I get it shalnark, I'm also quite stressed. It's really shocking to me as well." y/n replied.

"But are you really sure?" Shalnark asked.

"Yes. I very am" she replied, before also walking out the church, Pakunoda following behind her.

Machi wants to follow suit, but deemed it inappropriate so she stayed with a stressed shalnark.

"Y/N? Are you okay? I know all that was a lot with the boss' death and all but..." Pakunoda asks her girlfriend.

"It's not that... It's just really complicated" Y/n sat at the top of a small building. Were she can see the wasteland in wide range.

"Well I'm here" Pakunoda brings Y/N's head to her chest. "Talk to me, baby"

"First of all, the needle seems suspicious, even though it's been years since I've seen Illumi. I have a hard time believing that he's become strong enough to kill Chrollo"

"Also a needle will be most likely effective for a manipulator. That nen on the needle shalnark found was too hardened to be a manipulator's. Unless there's something about the ability we don't know or he's just plain stupid. If he was able to kill Chrollo, I doubt it's the latter".

"Is that all thats bothering you? I know you have something else to say" Pakunoda smiled.

Y/N sighed, "guess I can't fool you, can I. I'm also worried about my former friend. The zoldyck? The night my friends died. I didn't see him with them, I looked around for him but I couldn't find him anywhere. Then I joined the troupe the next day, met you and... I didn't look for him again. I feel incredibly guilty, like I abandoned him" Y/N explained.

"But instead of regretting it now y/n, why don't you just accept your mistakes and learn from it. We all do something we hate when we look back on it. That shows how mature you've become" Pakunoda said.

"Yea I get that. It just doesn't feel right that I didn't look for him all those years, even though our separation still hurts me. I wonder how he's doing. I wanna see- " Y/N didn't even finish her sentence.

She couldn't. Her instincts kicked in and she looked up to the sky. Why? Well, just because.

"Y/N?" Says Pakunoda in confusion.

Her pretty eyes were met with terrifying sight. A sight of a small colorful, thing coming down to them at abnormal speed. As it got further down, she was able to see what it more clearly. A Nuclear Bomb.

"Pakunoda! Get do-"

*Bang*

"Dropped it Kil, what's next" milluki asked his brother.

"We wait for a few minutes. Once the chemicals in the air are settled in. Men, Women and children of any race and age. We're going to kill them. Every last one. Understood?"

"Yes!" The siblings and there subordinates said in unison.
