After two weeks

"Are you excited?" Kiki asks. She was once again in the studio room with Offonoff.
Scooting to the edge of his seat, Jiho happily responds, "Of course, I love how the song came out."
Heesu nods in agreement, adding his own comment, "I'm excited to see how fans will react."
All three were preparing the final details of the song and listening to it for the last time. They were finally getting ready to release the song. The song they worked hard on. The song that will hopefully be beneficial for both of them.
It was currently ten in the morning and five in the afternoon, Pacific time. They were hoping that it would help get more views.
"I'm happy with how this song came out, and I hope you guys are too. Your media team is getting ready to post a tweet about it. I'm all ready to release the lyrics and animation video." Kiki states. She was able to convince Lucas to animate a video for them; he was very excited to help.
Right after she commented, one of the media staff members walked into the studio, a laptop in hand.
Looking over everyone in the room, the member asks while sitting down on the couch. "Are you guys ready?"
"As ready as we'll ever be. I hope people like this song." Jiho states sitting himself on the couch as well.
Rocking on the balls of his feet, Heesu says, "I'm so nervous."
"Ready." Kiki says, she tried everything she could to be determined. She was sitting in the office chair, her laptop open to her YouTube channel.
"I think it's about time we post? We'll start by uploading the song, and while that's uploading, we can tweet about it." The media staff states.
"What are you exactly tweeting?" Heesu asks while looking over the staff's shoulder, momentarily stopping his rocking.
At this, Kiki turned her chair to look at them.
"It's just that Offonoff put out a song with Producer's Corner. The time it was posted, where to find the song, and to enjoy the song."
"I'll also be posting about it on Instagram and Twitter." Kiki says, turning back to her laptop and opening another tab.
By the time they were done preparing, it was ten fifteen.
"I think it's time to post, on the count of three?" The media staff asks, sitting up straighter than before, "Jiho, would you like to push the button?"
Jiho scoots over a bit, grabbing the laptop out of the staff's hands, and takes a deep breath. "Alright, let's get this show on the road."
And just like that, a new video was uploaded onto the Producer's Corner official YouTube channel, and two statements were tweeted about the song.
"I guess now we wait." Kiki says, turning to face the others in the room. She watches the media staff leave the room, not bothering to say anything.
"It was so much fun writing and producing with you, Kiki. You're very talented." Heesu smiles at Kiki, also looking her way.
Also smiling herself, Kiki says, "I can say the same about both of you; you made me feel very comfortable."
"You should probably go home. I'll call you tomorrow to talk about the reactions we get." Jiho says, standing up from the couch and stretching a bit.
"I probably should, my friends are probably waiting. Again, thank you for working with me." Kiki also stands up and walks towards the door.
Saying her final goodbyes, she drives home happily.

As she opened and closed her apartment door, she was attacked with a hug.
"The song was so good! As soon as I heard it, I added it to my playlist!" Lucas excitingly exclaims, basically vibrating in her arms.
Kiki, taking off her shoes and slipping on her slippers, looks up with slightly wide eyes and shock written on her face.
"You've already heard it?"
"Of course, I knew it was going to be posted today, so I was waiting for you to post it." Lucas skips into the living room.
Following Lucas, Kiki looks to her right to see Megan working on dinner.
"Am I seeing things? Is Meg working on dinner?" Kiki asks Lucas, who has also looked into the kitchen.
"I guess so. I hope we won't die of food poisoning."
Meg's head shoots up at that statement. Shooting a glare at Lucas. Looking over at Kiki, their eyes softened.
"I'm so proud of you for going out of your comfort zone. The song was indeed very catchy and different than what I thought it was going to sound like." Meg states, putting down a knife.
"Kind of the point, making sure to confuse fans. Still surprised you guys have already heard it, but either way, thank you for the kind words." Kiki says, smiling, as she throws her bag onto the couch.
"What do you mean, 'already'? As soon as the song came out, Lucas started blasting it. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a noise complaint or if the neighbors became fans." Megan jokingly states, setting up the table.
Kiki knowingly looked over at Lucas, who shrugged his shoulders.
"Whatever. I'm hungry and want food, so let's eat." He says brushing off the insults.
Slightly rolling her eyes, Kiki makes her way to the table.

Later that night, Kiki once again couldn't go to sleep. Her thoughts were all over the place.
Leaning against her headboard, curtains open, moonlight shining through.
Will people like the new song?
Will people think I ruined Offonoff's style?
Will I get offers?
Not wanting to think any further, Kiki makes her way out of bed. Opening her sliding door, she steps out onto the balcony, a slight wind making its way through her hair.
The breeze relaxes her slightly. Closing the door behind her, she sits down on a lounge chair she had outside. She spends most of her time enjoying the moonlight and breeze.
She was able to enjoy the sunrise and the awakening of the early city.
At about eight in the morning, her bedroom door busted open, with an excited Lucas looking around her room. Specifically looking for Kiki herself, not noticing her on the balcony.
Kiki does notice Lucas, though, as soon as she hears her door open. She stands up and opens the balcony door.
"Why are you so excited?"
Jumping slightly at the sudden voice, Lucas's head shot towards the voice.
"Why the flip are you outside?"
"Becau-"
"That's not the point! Have you seen any of your social media platforms?!" When Lucas cut off Kiki, he was once again jumping up and down.
"No, I haven't been on my phone all night." Kiki's eyes held confusion, and her eyebrows were furrowed. Her eyes were subconsciously looking for her phone.
"Check! Check!"
Confused as to why he was so eager, Kiki walks wordlessly over to her phone. She opened it, only for her phone to be blown up with hundreds of notifications.
Eyebrows furrow even further.
"Why do I have so many notifications?"
Lucas, now having a big grin on his face, says, "I'll let you go through them. Let me know when you're done."
With that, Lucas quickly leaves her room, closing the door behind him.
Kiki decides to open her Twitter notifications first. Upon opening them, there were a bunch of following notifications, and from the looks of it, a lot of them were indie fans.
Why did so many people start following me?
Deciding to look at what is trending, she finds the reason why she has so many followers now.
Offonoff's newest song collaboration has blown up. With tweets saying they were never really fans of either artist but are now.
Not quite processing the fact that their song blew up, Kiki moves over to YouTube to find the same results. She went from 300k to 1.2 mill.
Kiki's eyes widen even more.
She exits YouTube and opens her email. Also having a few emails from different entertainment companies.
Eyes widening even more, Kiki squats down, phone on the floor, head in her hands.
Did this really happen over night?!

A/N: I kind of rushed how fast Kiki blew up, and I know technically Offonoff is a way smaller artist and they wouldn't blow up that fast or maybe even that big. But I needed a realistic small artist that Kiki would be able to easily contact and work with. Thank you for reading this chapter! I hope you have a great morning, day, or night!
