A few months have passed since Kiki's first collaboration.
Bang Chan's point of view
________________________________________________
Chan sits in his studio, nodding along to a song Stay had recommended. He was doing his weekly-ish live stream.
He hums the last chorus of a song that was recommended.
"That was a catchy song. Let's do a few more songs before ending the stream; recommend a new song!" Chan happily asks.
A bunch of comments were flooding in, though some of them recommended a certain YouTube channel.
"Producer's Corner?" Chan's eyebrows furrowed. He has never heard of an artist who goes by that name.
Continuing to read through the comments, Chan asks, "Who is... Producer's Corner? Are they like—what are they?"
The chat starts spamming to search for "Producer's Corner" on YouTube, and Chan will be surprised.
"Fine! Fine, I'll search. They're a YouTube channel?" Chan scoots himself closer to his desk and opens a new tab on his computer.
He proceeds to search, his eyes widening in surprise at how big the channel is.
"Wah! How are they so big, but I've never heard of them before?"
Chan looks over at chat once again, chuckling, "Maybe I am living under a rock. Which song should I listen to?"
The comments were once again spammed. This time, spamming for him to listen to the song that made them blow up. Offonoff's Song.
"Offonoff is an indie duo, right? Didn't one of their songs blow up?" Chan clicks onto the channel, scrolling through all the songs and noticing how many idols he recognizes.
He was still scrolling, seeing all the remixes they'd done and how many views they'd gotten.
"They've done so many songs!" Finally, finding the song that was recommended the most.
Chan clicks the song, and an animation video starts with a soft, catchy melody.
As the video plays, Chan sits there with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. If anyone was watching, you could tell he was enjoying the song.
Every so often, he would open his eyes to watch the cute and meaningful animation.
When the song concludes, Chan exclaims, "This was such a good song." I wonder why I've never heard of them before; they haven't been around for very long. Maybe some of the other members know of them."
Chan scans the comments, looking for simple information that Stay is sharing.
Username1: Except for the remixes, PC creates all of the songs on their channel.
Username2: No one knows anything about the ppl who make the songs.
Username3: Only the idols & we assume the companies know.
Username4: They r extremely talented!
Username5: PC posts once every week.
Chan's eyes once again widen in surprise.
"I'll have to do more research later." He doesn't necessarily believe that no one knows who they are; it's not possible. Even if they didn't post it themselves, the media would have found out, especially if Producer's Corner is this big.
With that, Chan temporarily moves on from the topic.
After the live stream ended, Chan opened Producer's Corner's YouTube channel again, this time taking his time looking through the song names and who they featured.
Seeing many well-known idols, some less-known idols, and a bunch of indie artists.
They've really worked with a bunch of idols.
By the looks of it, they post every Friday. Once every other week, a song is featured by an artist.
They've even got small soloists.
Chan spends a good couple of hours listening to and going through songs. He was surprised at how different some of the styles of music were. Not expecting these artists to have such a different sound from what he's already heard.
Most of the songs felt really heartfelt and meaningful.
Finally, deciding he'd heard enough of the songs, he goes to Google the producer.
Skimming through a couple of articles, Chan notices a pattern.
Nothing mentions an actual name or appearance. Not even how many people work at Producer's Corner is known.
Has no one actually seen them?
Chan closes the tabs and pushes himself back, resting his hands behind his head.
Maybe I can ask someone.
Standing up from his chair, Chan leaves his studio.
Pulling out his phone, Chan searches for a contact. He finds it, clicks it, and waits for it to go through.
Arriving at a small cafe the company building had, Chan sits down at one of the tables in the corner.
Sana: Hello? What's up, Chan?
Chan: Hey Sana, How have you been?
S: Okay, I'm pretty busy right now, so I'm surprised you called.
C: I'm sorry, I had a couple of questions about something. I was wondering if you knew something.
S: Oh, I don't know. What exactly is this something?
C: Well, during a live stream I just did, I was told to listen to this YouTube channel called "Producer's Corner." I was wondering if you knew anything about them.
Chan was confused at the sudden quietness.
C: Sana?
S: Sorry, Chan, I'm not allowed to say anything. You should ask your manager to arrange a meeting with JYP.
With that, Sana hung up, leaving an even more confused Chan.
Not allowed? Arrange a meeting with JYP? Why is that needed?
Chan goes home for the night, deciding not to think about it too much and instead to ask his manager about it later.
When Chan returned home, he was assaulted in a hug by none other than Felix.
"You were home later than I expected." Felix says, letting go of Chan.
"Yeah, I had some work to do, and I was talking with a friend." Chan says, taking off his shoes and putting on his slippers.
"I'm going to go take a shower and stuff. Did you guys already eat dinner?"
Felix walks to the living room and says, "Yeah, we did, though we ordered food."
"Alrighty then." Chan simply states, walking to his room to take a warm shower.
After the shower, Chan throws his dirty laundry into the hamper and flops onto his bed.
Should I call the manager now? Might as well.
Grabbing his phone off his bedside table, Chan hesitantly calls his manager.
Manager: Hello? Do you need something, Chan?
Chan: I was just wondering about something.
M: Oh, okay, what's up?
C: Well, during my live stream, I was told to listen to Producer's Corner. I got interested in why they were so mysterious, so I called Sana, but she said she wasn't allowed to say anything and to ask you.
Chan hears his manager chuckle a bit.
M: I was wondering when Stay would recommend Producer's Corner. Sana signed an NDA when she worked with Producer's Corner, so she wasn't allowed to tell you any information.
Chan sits up properly, eyes wide.
C: Sana collaborated with them?! I had no idea. I even looked through a bunch of their songs, but I didn't see her name.
M: Yes, Producer's Corner has quite a few songs. Anyway, you're wondering about them, right?
C: I am, indeed.
M: Well, I'll schedule a meeting with JYP. I'll tell you the details when I do.
The manager then hangs up.
Chan's eyebrows furrowed.
And just like that, Chan was left with even more questions.

A/N: Chan finally was introduced. I wasn't sure how Chan talked to fans while doing his streams, so sorry if it wasn't accurate. I wasn't to sure about what stray kids dorm arrangements, from what I here they moved dorms and stuff so I was kinda confused. For the story they're just going to live in one dorm. Thank you for reading this chapter! I hope you have a great morning, day, or night! (This chapter has been heavily edited)
