A few weeks later.

Chan: Is it possible for us to do some more producing?

Kiki: I don't see why not. When are you free next?

Chan: uh, tomorrow? Is that fine? It is kind of last min.

Chan: If you can't do tomorrow, what about next Friday?

Kiki: lol, Im fine with tomorrow. Where do you want to produce?

Chan: The guys wanted to see you again? My place?

Kiki: I dont think we'll be able to get any work done.

Chan: yeahhh- lol. I could ask them to wait until after we're done.

Kiki: Sounds like a plan. txt me a time and I'll see you then.

"I'm going to Chan's dorm." Kiki says later that night at the dinner table.

"Wow, look at you being all adulty. Going out and socializing." Lucas teases.

Meg rolls their eyes, looking at Lucas. "Adulty isn't even a word." They look toward Kiki next. "It is kind of surprising, but good for you, though."

She scoffs at the both of them. "Why is it surprising? I've met so many other idols already."

"Yeah, but you never enjoyed it as much as you do now." Lucas says through a mouth full of food.

Meg groans before facing Lucas. "Dude! Is it that hard to chew your food before  speaking?"

"You should be used to it by now!" He easily argues back.

"How do you know I'm enjoying this collaboration more than my other ones?" She seemed to be genuinely confused.

"No offense to any of the other idols, but you seem to connect better with Chan or something." Meg comments, focusing back on her food.

"What they said. You seem to glow when you come back from...the hangouts?" Lucas adds on.

"Why'd you say it like a question?" Kiki asks. That's all it seems she's going to be doing this conversation.

He puts down his chopsticks. "Because it was, dummy. I never know if you guys are producing or just hanging out. As of right now, it seems more like hanging out."

She furrows her eyebrows. "It's not my fault, though. We were both busy in the beginning, me with other work and him with the new album and promotions he had to do."

He raises his hands in surrender. "It wasn't supposed to be a dig, I promise. I'm glad you're hanging out with people, and not just for work."

Her shoulders sag. "I know, I know."

They went back to eating for a couple of minutes before Megan started the conversation again.

"So, do you know when you guys are going to—uh, when you're going over there?"

"Nice save," Lucas says, rolling his eyes.

They scowl right back at him.

"It's supposed to be a producing session, but we'll see how long that lasts with the guys around."

"They'll probably be more chaotic now that they've met you." Meg points out.

She scratches the back of her neck. "Yeah. I'm not as nervous as I was before to go over there, but they're a chaotic group. I haven't been personally around that many people in a while."
