You and Shadow followed Sonic as he lead you to the scene.
"What is it Faker?" Shadow asked.
"We found this!"
He held out a radio as you and Shadow blinked in disbelief.
"That's it? What even is that?" Shadow asked.
"I don't know but I remember seeing one of the outsiders use it by talking with this." He held out a walkie talkie as well."
"That's a radio. You've never seen one before?" Y/N asked.
"No. Not really." Sonic said.
"Hey, what does this button do?" Silver pressed a button and it started playing really loud music as they quickly ran away from it while you were just covering your ears.
"It's alive!" Silver yelled.
Shadow was about to stab it with a spear but you quickly stopped him.
"No! Wait! It's just music!"
"This is music?" Shadow asked.
Shadow and the others have never heard of any other kind of music before besides their own so it was new to them.
"Yeah. You probably never heard outside music before have you?"
"No."
"But...It does seem kinda catchy." Sonic said as he started tapping his foot a bit.
"Yeah. I kinda like it." Silver said.
They started to dance as you watched them. You laughed a bit and decided to join in but while you were dancing, you noticed that Shadow wasn't participating.
"Come on Shadow!"
"I don't dance."
"Oh come on! Don't be a party pooper." Sonic said.
Shadow glared at him but then closes his eyes with a smirk.
"Fine then. But be careful what you wish for."
"Huh?"
Shadow started dancing a bit as he was heading towards Sonic.
He gulped a bit and was about to run until Shadow caught up and started to dance/fight him. Sonic tried to dodge as much as possible but then Shadow knocked him down as he finished with his head tilted up.
You and Silver didn't say a word.
Sonic groaned as he sat up.
"What the heck bro?"
"Like I said, because what you wish for." Shadow said as he walked away.
You ran towards him as Silver helped Sonic up.
"Why would you do that Shadow?"
"I just wanted to show him that I should be respected for my own choices. He'll be fine."
"But he did nothing wrong. You didn't have to beat him up like that. We were just trying to get you to have fun."
"Well like it or not, I would not want any part of it." Shadow said as he walked away.
You stood there as he disappeared.
After the incident, you decided to give Shadow some space since he was probably not in the best mood.
You couldn't keep your mind off of him all day and it was driving you crazy.
Blaze saw this and sat by you.
"You ok?"
"I don't know."
"What's wrong?"
You slowly turned your head and saw Shadow talking with Maria which made Blaze look as well.
"Got Shadow on your mind?"
You stayed silent for a bit as Blaze spoke again.
"I won't say anything. You have my word."
You looked back at her and sighed a bit.
"I might...like him...a little bit..."
Blaze stayed silent until you said,
"Ok fine. A lot. But I can't tell what he thinks."
"Well...To be honest, you probably would of been dead by now if he didn't accept you but you're not. That could be a sign."
"But what about Maria? They seem really close."
"That might be but I don't really see Shadow liking her that way. He never mentions it. So you might have a chance."
"But what if he starts to hate me again?"
"Why don't you try tonight and see how it goes?"
You thought for a minute and looked back at her.
"Alright. I'll try."
"If you ever need me, just come find me ok?"
"Ok. Thanks Blaze."
"No problem." Blaze walked away as you continued to have random thoughts on how tonight will go.
