Shadow was in tiger form drinking some water. Suddenly a pink deer walked towards him.
"Hey Shadow." Shadow sat up and looked at Amy.
"What do you want?"
"Did you hear about the new girl?"
"I think they made a mistake bringing her here." Amy turned into a mobian hedgehog.
"Maybe you should give her a chance Shadow." Shadow turned into a mobian.
"You clearly have forgotten how that went in the past." Shadow said.
"I know things were bad before but maybe she might be different."
'There's nothing you can do to make me trust her."
"How about you join me and the others. We'll get to know her together." Shadow growled a little and said,
"Fine." Shadow and Amy arrived at the village and saw their friends talking to Y/N.
"So Y/N, what was your family like? Did they survive the fire?" Sonic asked.
Y/N began to form tears as everyone looked at her shocked.
"Oh I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." Sonic said.
"No...it's ok. The thing is....I don't have a family. It all started when I was only 6 years old....I never knew what happened to my parents when they left for dinner."
"I waited all night for them and they never came back. Either something happened to them or they ditched me. My babysitter had to become my adopted mother and take care of me."
"But soon she passed away from cancer. It was just me, on my own, struggling with life. I couldn't find a job, I couldn't pay for my home and now it just ended up on fire."
Everyone felt bad for you and hugged you gently.
"We're sorry you went through so much trouble." Sonic said.
"Yeah. I really feel bad for you." Silver said.
"But we're happy to have you here!" Amy said as she walked towards you.
"Hi! I'm Amy! The Deer ShapeShifter."
"Hello."
"Welcome to our home. I'm sorry about your home."
"It's fine. Hopefully I can find myself a home out there."
Everyone looked at each other.
"How about we help you build your own home? We can have it built here."
"Really? You can do that?"
"Of course we can!"
"You don't have to do that for me."
"We don't mind at all."
"Wow. Thank you so much."
"You're welcome. It's gonna take a while though so you might have to stay with Sonic for awhile we hope you don't mind waiting."
"It's ok. Thanks again."
Shadow growled quietly and walked away.
"Where are you going?" Amy asked.
Shadow didn't respond and just walked away. Amy sighed as she watched him leave.
