(Epilogue)

One year later

"Easy!"

The cage clanged with a loud ring and Hermione wiped off her sweaty and dirty forehead. All the other Tamers were in similar looks. The Hungarian Horntail was furious but as soon as Hermione to put in her cub. The behaviour changed

"That's it" Hermione murmured "you just wanted your baby..."

The dragon huffed and curled herself around her cub Hermione smiled and turned to the rest of the Tamers

"Drinks?"

They all whooped and made their way to the pub

Hermione settled down at the head of the table. They all talked and discussed the new exchange

The Firewhiskey was passed and they all drank and celebrated. Soon the partners of some of the Dragon Tamers came to fetch them. Hermione was helping one of them back to their cabins

She made her way home and entered. Benny came and greeted her. Hermione picked up the Terrier and was bombarded by kisses

Hermione smiled sadly as she put down the dog. Crookshanks had passed a few months ago due to a tumor that had developed in his brain. She had the choice to do surgery but she chose to let her Familiar rest

But it didn't lessen the pain of knowing she'll never be greeted by her cat ever again

"Oh hello Hermione" Narcissa smiled

"Hello Narcissa, why aren't you asleep yet?"

Narcissa closed her book

"I got lost in this book" she chuckled

Hermione smiled at her. Ever since finally filing for divorce. Narcissa looks happier than ever. Especially since she sold the Manor where there had been too much darkness for far too long

Hermione dropped a kiss on the older witches cheek and said her goodnights. As she walked down the hallway. She saw all the pictures from the past year

Especially the one closest to her heart

She entered the room at the very end and saw Draco standing by the window

She smiled softly and made her way to her husband

Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger had eloped four months after they had officially started dating

Something spontaneous for both of them

And they had heard from Theo for months after that. Considering that he had bet that it would have taken them at least six months after they had officially started dating

But it had been right

And Hermione wouldn't change it for the world

Draco turned and kissed her lips

"You smell like firewhiskey" he murmured against her lips

"Well after almost getting burnt alive, the guys wanted to celebrate another day" Hermione said

"You didn't—"

"Of course I didn't" Hermione gasped dramatically, she placed a hand on her flat abdomen "not when I am officially a human incubator for this rugrat"

Draco chuckled and rolled his eyes

"You know my mother doesn't like it when you call him—"

"Her"

They both stared at each other

"You really want a girl don't you?" Draco chuckled

"I want a healthy baby, the gender is a plus" she shrugged "but I wouldn't mind having a girl"
