Hermione groaned as she looked into the mirror
Her eyes were bloodshot and her cheeks were puffy
She couldn't stop crying
Hermione packed the last of her clothes into her luggage and made her way to her door
She was going to Romania for a few weeks. To do work and to clear her head from Draco
She opened her door and was greeted by a furious Pansy Nott-Parkinson, an annoyed Ginny Weasley, a nervous Lavender Weasley-Brown, and a dreamy Luna Zabini
"I—"
"You better explain yourself before I unleash my pissed off husband" Pansy threatened and stormed into the flat
"Pansy—"
The other witches entered. Hermione reluctantly closed the door and slowly shuffled into the living room
"Before we go off our hinges, let's listen to Hermione's side of the story" Lavender said
Pansy was tapping her door furiously as she glared at Hermione
"Well?" Pansy asked
"I don't know what explanation you're waiting" Hermione asked annoyed, she was going to miss her Portkey and her idiotic friends decided to do an intervention for who knew what
"You broke Draco's heart!" Pansy yelled loudly
"I broke Draco's heart?!" Hermione yelled "I broke his heart?!"
"Yes! You rejected him by locking him out of your flat!"
The two witches engaged in a yelling match. The three other witches looked between both of them
"Enough!" Lavender yelled
Hermione and Pansy glared at each other before turning to Lavender
"You want the story? Okay, Draco took me to his studio, said all those lovely things. Made me believe that he felt the exact same way only to show me that he is the same jerk who breaks witches hearts for a weekend fun! I was a fool in thinking that Draco Lucius Malfoy could ever love someone—a mudblood like me! But I was wrong! I — Hermione Granger was wrong in thinking that I had found the one! But my pathetic illusion was destroyed when I saw my Draco with Astoria Greengrass looking perfect! Now excuse me! I have to go to work!"
She grabbed her luggage and Crookshanks and stormed out of her flat. Leaving the other witch in shock
"Hermione's in love with Draco?" Pansy whispered and sat down
"Glad you finally got with the program" Ginny muttered
"Oh no" Lavender groaned and covered her face "Hermione misunderstood completely"
"We have to get all these Wrackspurts out of their heads, they've got their wires crossed" Luna told them
"But how?" Ginny asked them "Hermione is going somewhere, Draco's locked himself in his flat and hasn't come out"
"It seems to me ladies, that we have some meddling to do" Pansy told her friends
"It seems so" Lavender agreed
The four witches came up with a proper plan to find a way to get the too brightest but dumbest witch and wizard of the age to confess their feelings for one another
But that was going to be a task of itself
...
Hermione was settling in her cabin when there was a knock at the door
