It was beautiful
Draco looked back in from the cave and saw Hermione smiling at him, she was wearing her coverup but Draco could see her black bikini under it
"How did you even find this place?" Draco asked her
She grabbed the picnic basket and walked up to him
"I tripped" she giggled "come on, the hot springs are close"
She took his hand and they walked through the trees, Draco admired how she looked under the broken light
"Leave it to Hermione Granger to trip into a place like this" Draco smirked
"It's beautiful isn't it?" She smiled
"You're even more beautiful"
Draco watched as her cheeks turned red at the compliment
They entered the springs and she removed the cover up, her skin glistened under the sun as she hopped into the hot water
Draco kicked off his shoes and socked and got in after her, he swam to her side and settled beside her. She moved between his legs and he began to massage her arms
"This truly is a beautiful place Granger" he murmured into her ear
She smiled and leaned her head on the crook of his neck
"I'm glad you're here with me...I know how much you don't like coming to Scotland...this means a lot to me"
"I'll do anything for you Granger" he told her
Hermione turned on his lap, she straddled his waist
"Granger—"
"It's okay" she murmured, she cupped the warm water and began to pour it down his chest and shoulders, she made sure her hands were wet as she began to run them through his hair
Draco copied her as he wetted her back. Ensuring to not wet too much of her hair because he knew that it was a haggle
This was very intimate
More intimate than anything they had ever done
More intimate than their cuddles
More intimate than their naps
More intimate than their kisses tp try to sell their fake relationship
More intimate than any of that
Because no one was looking at them
They weren't trying to sell this to anyone
It was just them two
Tucked away in this secret, beautiful, intimate cave
They both knew they should stop. They were dancing on a very thin line that could potentially mess up everything. That could definitely ruin their friendship and they would probably lose one another
They should stop this
Go back to the safe side of their friendship
To just say friends
But Draco was mesmerized by the freckles on her face. The constellations that littered her face that he once used to make fun of now was one of his favourite things about her
The stories they told the world but you could only read if you knew how to track them
Draco kept one hand on her back while the other one moved to her face. He traced the freckles and managed to identify three of the connections
"Scorpius" he murmured as he traced the Scorpion constellation
Hermione drew random things on his shoulders
"Lyra" he continued softly. The Lyre constellation was closer to her neck
"Perseus" he whispered softly
"Ara"
Hermione saw his pupils dilating slightly
"Do you know all the names of the stars?" She whispered softly
He looked into her eyes
"Every last one" he murmured "if there's one tradition I want to continue...it's naming my children after the stars"
Hermione leaned into his fingers, his hand dropped to her neck and continued to draw the constellations on her shoulders. Hermione felt her eyes fluttering close as his hands trailed down her arms
"You're beautiful Granger" he whispered softly
Hermione's eyes snapped open as she looked at him. His eyes were dark and Hermione gulped with the passion he was looking at her
"Tell me what stars litter my skin?"
"All of them" he whispered softly
Hermione didn't know what came over her as she dropped her lips onto his. Her lips began to move in a perfect synchronized dance, Draco entangled his hands in her hair as he tilted her head to get a better angle. Hermione moaned as he swiped her tongue across his lower lip and he allowed her access
Hermione gasped softly as his lips moved from her lips and down her throat
"D-Draco" she panted. Her hands gripping his hair as her neck extended itself even more to him
He hauled her up even more and Hermione dropped her head back down, kissing him with fever. Their bodies called to one another. Their souls sang the song to one another
Once they had a taste of one another. It was only a matter of time before they collided again
Draco placed her over the edge of the hot spring and crawled over her, his body was a blanket over her as he hooked one of her legs over his hips
They both were breathless. If they continued down this path. They would never be the same
They kissed again and Draco moved to untie the string of her top when suddenly a branch was snapped and they were pulled out of their little world
Draco got off her and she sat up. Her hands ensuring that her top was still covering her breast as the person who popped their bubble came into view
Draco fumed when it was Charlie Weasley, he summoned Hermione's coverup and she embarrassingly put it on
She wouldn't meet his eye
"Can I help you with something Charlie?" She asked. Her voice was heavy
"Y-Yeah, Erm...emergency meeting" he told her
He quickly made his way out
"I thought only we knew about this place" Draco asked
His voice quickly got cold
"We were—"
"Then how did he find us?" He asked flatly
"Malfoy—"
"What game were you playing?" He asked jealously
His emotions were getting the best of him
She scoffed and stood up, she shot him a flat as she put on her sandals
"Yeah, storm away" he sneered
Hermione turned back to him and shot him an angry glare
"You can just say you wanted to pretend that this didn't happen, not be a prick about it" she spat
She kicked away the basket. Their lunch littered the stones
"Guess what Malfoy" she spat as she turned to him
"What Granger, enlighten me" he sneered jealously
"This never happened"
