Robin and Sam entered Mary's house.

The place was very tacky and a little dark.

"This place feels weird" Robin whispered.

"I know. I've heard of a fixer-upper but this is a burner-downer" said Sam.

Mary led them into her kitchen and had them sit at the table.

She gave them each a glass of yellow liquid and said "have a drink".

Robin looked at jug she poured the drink from and noticed it had red spots on it.

Sam didn't notice and took a sip of her drink.

"It's alright, Robin; it's pineapple juice. Darn good pineapple juice" said Sam.

Now that she knew what the drink was, she drank it all down.

"I know, Sam. But do you see what I see?" said Robin.

Sam looked at the jug and said "Uh-huh".

"Looks like blood" said Robin.

"Oh, yech! They call her Bloody Mary for a reason" said Sam.

Robin nodded and Sam faced Mary.

"Uh, Mary... we appreciate the pineapple juice, but we're concerned about the jug" she said.

"Yeah. Are you Dracula's ex-wife or something?" said Robin.

Mary stared at him with a serious face.

"That's not funny" she said.

"I'm sorry" said Robin awkwardly.

Mary gave him a small smile to accept the apology and Sam sat back down.

"Those are vials of blood" she said referring to the spots on the jug.

"Well, that's what I thought" said Robin.

Sam whispered to Robin "Why is there blood on her jug?"

"I don't know, but I don't think we should ask her. She probably underwent an operation recently" said Robin.

"Well, it must have been a mighty intense operation. Unless it's a Red Cross thing" said Sam.

Mary overheard the whispering and said "I drink it" in the most casual tone.

"Huh? Why?" said Sam trying not to gag.

"I like the taste of it. And it's nutritious" said Mary.

"Holy cold creeps" Robin whispered.
