We had been on one of our usual patrols on any other sunny day. Without warning Vi turned around suddenly only to be jolted to the ground. She looked up at me then her eyes closed as she tried to yell out again but passed out. I don't remember what happened next I must have been stunned by the same thing.

When we woke up a while later it was night but we were now most definitely in some kind of dilapidated warehouse in Zaun. We were in a double sided cage or cell but curiously enough we weren't tied up and no apparent lasting damage on me. I looked over at Vi who was sporting a new black eye.

"Are you alright?" I questioned softly.

"Oh you're awake, yeah I'm fine."

I walked over and sat beside her a couple feet away. The bars between us. I reached my hand toward her. She held it through the bars bringing it up slowly to her face. Then kissed my palm gently and my wrist. A few tears streamed down her face. We were both worried. A few minutes in silence. And she still held my hand now down to her lap.

"What is this Cupcake? I hate being locked up."

"I'm not sure. Whoever took us clearly wants us alive though."

"Hmm yeah I'm glad we're both still here. I don't remember anything."

A purple hue lit up faintly in the corner then flashed to blue. It was a ways off we must be in a massive room. The only thing familiar was the thicker air and faint smells of the river.

A voice echoed through the room. "Sorry I couldn't have you in the way tonight. I'll let you out in the morning, just sit tight." The door slammed. And we seemed to be alone again. That was an odd unfamiliar tone. Almost like he had been talking through some apparatus. A breathing mask maybe.

"Vi-"

"Well you've always wanted some more quality time together right?" She grinned a little uneasy.

"Hmm yeah. I don't see an easy way out of here. Have you noted anything?"

"No, this is pretty well made."

"Damn it. Others will come looking for us soon at least."

"Huh yeah." She hated not being able to do anything.

"Look why don't we play a game to pass the time.."

"A game in here?"

"Yes... well do you have a better idea?" I asked.

"Hmm no not really, I already tried the locks."

"Well have you played 2 truths and a lie?"

"Um not exactly in Zaun we play 2 lies and a truth" she let out a little chuckle.

"Well we could do that I suppose maybe it'd be more fun."

"Ok Cupcake you first I got to think of mine..."

"Right... ok, so you guess which is actually the truth. Once I stayed up so late I watched the sunrise over Piltover, then snuck back into my room to sleep the morning away. My mother was sure I had some life threatening disease that day."

"Hmm that is pretty believable but I'll hear all 3..."

"Ok next one... I used to have a brother, I was 5 and he was sent off to war, we never heard from him again."

"Yeah I'm gonna say that is a false one, what's next?"

"When I was 8 I went on my first hunt with my father. It was a cool fall morning and we could see our breathe as we steadied to take aim. I had a dough in my sights but couldn't take the shot. My father proceeded to fire and we walked slowly to the deer that lay gasping on the ground. He motioned to me with his knife. 'Caitlyn,' he said. 'It's better to put her out of her misery now, and know that her life will sustain many lives in the months to come. It's all for a purpose. Not just to aimlessly kill, but to provide and care for yourself and others. He convinced me to put that deer out of her pain and suffering and thank her for her sacrifice."
